Awesome lecture, it is very informative and enlightening. In minute 30 he says: The supposedly archaic Words should make the reader stop and contemplate the meaning of what the Lord is saying. I have done this even before listening to this lecture and the degree of understanding was greatly increased. This lecture also makes you think and reevaluate priorities. Thank you for sharing this blessing.
I used to, for many years, have a King James Bible, a NKJ, an Amplified, and a NIV, and about 7 years ago now, when the Spirit of truth revealed to me the error of the counterfeit bibles I got rid of the three counterfeit bibles. Now I stand unreservedly on the King James Bible. Pastor Peter Wiebe Wall.
My experience: I gave my two boys NIV’s to read. They didn't like it, I took them to an old poorly educated woman who worked for the Volunteers of America. She taught them from the AV and they loved it. To this day they won't use any other Bible.
Listened this Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Love learning the Bible and history. And I can a test to being able to read the Holy Bible daily once I opened and stayed with the King James Version. I failed for years with an NIV and a NKJV. It's funny, it's those odd words and phrases I think that lend credence to attending church and Sunday School to aid in learning more than you can first glean in a read through, because they've learned to connect and compare Scripture with Scripture. Plus what's been handed down from one generation to another generation like heirlooms from it. I would call those other versions, processed or already been chewed food. You can get something to keep you alive but, you won't grow or function too awful well.
