We had a problem with people not flushing . So they got and off brand motion sensitive flushing valves. The parts costs more the a new flushing valve . So they went back to the old Sloan valve lol
Really ? As a plumber I’ve delt with this several times . Just use sizzler , it will eat all the calcium in about 5 min . Works all the time in restaurants.
@@Jaythatdrainguy I think I have a bottle at home . I’ll send the manufacture / info to you. The one bad thing about it is it smells really horrible when it’s eating the calcium . You need eye protection / gloves when handling it . I’ve used it about 3 times in the last 6 months and it’s worked every time this year . I had one it didn’t work on last year . But most of our urinals do not have exposed traps so we would have to remove the entire urinal to get to the trap here where I live 🐺🐺🐕🐕🐺🐺
That type of drain seems a lot easier than the ones where you need to take the whole urinal off, all of my encounters are with the latter, debating which is worse, open urinal drain or toilet, I'll go with the urinal.
Urinals are definitely worse than toilets, and this type of urinal with the external p. Trap is a lot better than the ones where you gotta. Remove them from the wall. I would deal with these everyday all day if I didn't have to touch one. That was an internal. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
Yeah, they're bad, and they're definitely probably one of the worst drains, but they don't bother me too much unless I get splashed in the face by stuff inside that's pretty gross. Thanks for watching Randy. Have a great day.
As a non-plumber, but a drain technician, I was called in by a mechanical company to assist with a complex issue that plumbers were unable or unwilling to handle. I hope this clarification helps. Thank you for your attention. Have a great day.
The Work ? A Block Urinal to cleat. Is to see, the Shipho full with Urinestone and Chemie. This Mix make a complete Block! The best the Drain to Snaking out the Symphonie give New. Then a long Time clear. 👍
Don't know why, but this one turned my stomach more than most of the videos I've watched. Btw, what the heck happened to your pants? They're worse than my mechanic husband's lol.
So I was on a job and they didn't tell me. There was acid in the drain, so like liquid plumber or anything like that and I was using a Sawzall To cut the pipe and all the acid water got on my clothes and that was the aftermath. I like keeping them around so that I can show people what they're doing to my clothes when they use that kind of acid in the drain. Thanks for watching Kana have a great day
@kana2112 No, if I ever get the drain acid on me, I try to wash it off pretty quick. You do get a little burning sensation, but it's not overly bad kind of just irritating more than anything.
Yeah, the plumbers up north here are like princesses. They don't want to get their hands dirty. Thanks for watching Patrick. Have a great day, brother.
That's drain acid that somebody poured down a drain and didn't tell me and when I cut the drain, this was the aftermath I. Keep them to show people what drain acid does to my clothes that I pay out-of-pocket for. Thanks to watching, have a great day.
"Agh, right in the face..." I had to drill through a stack with about 20 feet of water above me today so I could drain the pipe so we could cut it. Didn't get a facial but I did get a shot right up into my armpit. Remember, when doing dumb things, always keep your mouth shut. 🤮😁
I remember as an apprentice, I was cutting waste pipe for a bath with an oscillating tool and getting splashed in the face by waste water. Made me vomit a few times because the guy living there was using the bath to piss in. Fun times
I agree, but with the schooling and everything like that, I can't afford to take the time off and up here plumbers make like 42 bucks. An hour give or take I make 41 so other than the actual learning. I wouldn't really benefit much because I don't plan on leaving this company. I work for a really good company. If that makes sense, they treat me really well. They treat my family well, thanks for watching Tarik. Have a great day, brother.
