Early access is just a fancy term for demo. Most likely, they’re gatekeeping most of the game and that’s why they let RU-vidrs record. (Edit: Them devs reverse scammed us and its coming out in testing phases)

I don't get why ppl are so mad that it's only the first area, this testing phase was to rule out the major bugs and glitches and it is more than enough to do so. There will also be more testing phases which will most likely be the next areas with evolutions. People who bought early access with the expectations that they would get to play the full game are just ridiculous ngl. This game is gonna be the best game on roblox since Anime Adventures once it fully releases. The $25 was worth it, if you disagree then you clearly don't know what it means to be a tester and you just blindly bought the early access tester role. CHANGE MY MIND

Honestly imo pocket anime det gonna improve like the most this year,mostly because in the first stages of development they were new to creating content,such as animons,the map and UI,but now they are more experienced and got alot of feedback on what to improve on the game,also the trailer showed us several maps that werent in the game such as the wisteria forest in demon slayer and also i remember they were in a volcano under a fight(correct me if im wrong)so they probably also have that in works rn

I can understand adding only one route, but like im kinda disappointed that they didn't add the evolutions, they would have been really cool to see. (Also, if they're actually selling early access, they better be prepared for roblox's wrath. We all saw what happened to jujutsu infinite when they tried selling access to their game via discord.)

Im also an EA in pocket anime enjoyed the game a lot, met a Dev and he said that the reason behind not saving Data is that they expect to drop changes such that the old data would break the progress(basically old data would not be compatible with new updates based on current changes, probably the way its been coded to save data), but I do wish the people who found shiny should be able to keep em lol

I'll admit I myself was even surprised at little was given during EA but at the same time everything shown was extremely high quality and well thought out. That stuff takes time. However they should of said initially said what was coming in EA. A lot of what people had to go off of was trailers which showed far too much

Okay, but just like you're saying here. Yes, there might've been not as much content from what players might've wanted, but everything else in the game: gameplay, quality, graphics, tutorial, action, game style, combat, experience, etc, were perfection. So, if it's that good for only that little amount of content that's done been created into a fuss, then there shouldn't be a problem or any issues with the situation. This is just my opinion on the situation, of course, but i wouldn't have cared really. If the experience was that worth it, who cares if it costs 25$? To be honest, the players could've waited to see how worth it it was by other people, and then decided if they wanted to pay the price. Im just being honest because every new anime game that has been released within this month has been canceled by either some random fuss or a random issue, or the players had issues with the game for some odd reason. We already have enough issues with Gamefam, from what I've heard. Dont get me wrong, though. I do understand the situation, and it is pretty reasonable for some players to have an issue with it.

What people were also mad was that they pinged everyone when it released to only early access players which got everyone thinking it was a free early access and mobile players that bought the $25 couldn’t even play since it isn’t mobile compatible yet.

It’s called ‘early access’ and ‘testing’ for a reason, Roblox players have brain rot and think that testing just means the full games out and progress saves, like what?

They made everyone buy tester then called out stuff at the last minute xd also moblie players who bought tester couldn't play

What most ppl dont know is that they only allowed to us to explore these 2 areas of the map to test out bugs and glitches, their going to be more testing phases in the future, and our data will be kept until the game fully releases to the public.

They did say this was a playtest, meaning you will be testing a small chunk of the game

The quality of the game shows the 1-2+ years of work, nothing wrong with a game taking that long and having so little. Roblox development teams live normal lives, most likely have jobs until a game can suit them out of one comfortably and most likely of all they consist of a small team. Underestimating time and quality a game needs is a sign of a misunderstanding on how games should be developed and quite literally shows itself on how most of Roblox currently is: low effort, high grind, repetitive baloney. This comment is just informative, not hating or attacking anybody directly. The issue is the price tag on a testing phase, not even a Robux purchase which is almost a breach of contract with the Roblox TOS (my latest knowledge of the 2020 TOS). Appreciating UI quality/animations and the gameplay itself and the love put into a game is really how we should learn to see a game.

No first gym is a bit crazy, but from their recent message in the discord. I feel like they will be doing testing phases in batches with new content in each. Probably wanting testers to test each area to make sure there are no bugs for sure before releasing new areas.

i tested the game today(even rn), the devs really put effort on the game ngl and there's sum errors when trying to enter sum places but hope they fix those.

My biggest complaints are slow leveling, characters learn barely any moves and half of they are irrelevant, and the fact that stat differences between levels mean close to nothing

and the fact we r paying to find bugs for the game is just wild u dont even get somthing on relese u get all ur data wiped

Saying they only made the starter are and first route after 2 years is mad stupid, I very much doubt they have that little content made, they already said more testing phases will come with more content unlocked so clearly the content IS there, but also restricting the game like this for testing is very smart, I saw a few bugs myself watching streams so this just helps them fix the bugs ppl find in these singled out areas alongside what their own team finds, which is really good imo
