@@ak-fr3mk Im averaging 5-6 hours of screen on time on my 13 mini before I need to plug it in. It was at 20%. The mini can definitely get you though an entire day if you just use it casually

I just wanted an apple watch a couple years ago, and now I'm piling up apple shit as it comes out. mini 13 is great though, been using it for a few days now and I will never go back to a big phone. I hope they make a mini 14 next year

@@Anser85 I don't know. probably not, but as an apple sheep I must pay what apple says has to be paid. I had an 11 before I've got the 13 mini, but from what I hear 12 mini had a bit of a battery life issue. it was the sole reason I didn't get the mini 12 last year. as for the 13 mini, the battery life is as good as it was on my old 11 when it was new. I get a full day of use and then some.

@@drock1717 I just traded my 11 Max for a 13 mini and I have no regrets. It's growing on me real quick. I'm only going to install basic/necessary apps and keep the rest of my space for photos and videos I take with it.

That's a concern of mine! Right now I can plug in the 2016 SE to 3.5mm in the tray under the radio, where it doesn't get as hot as sitting in the middle right on top of the transmission. I think a Mini (with lightning to 3.5 adapter, unfortunately) will *just* squeeze in there. I've got a 94.

Based on rumors. Take with a grain of salt. Although it's obvious Apple isn't planning new devices 1 year before launch, they might change their (potential) cancelling of mini after quite a lot of people are getting 13 mini these days. I think it's a perfect for most people, Apple just kills it with big price. Be it 100 bucks less it would be much more attractive.

@@Oni-One i have clicked that Buy button two days ago :). Will keep my old SE as a backup. Trade in was only worth 90 euros, in case they would find it beaten (frame has some dents) it would be only 50, so not worth it.

@@Oni-One only one seller in my country had few in stocks. No big ones including Pro anywhere. I plan to buy regular 13 for my mom as she has bad eyes but given the shortages I don’t know.

What are you talking about? Look at S21 or any flagship phone and you’ll see they use laser AF. Look at any modern Sony mirror less camera. They all use laser AF. LiDAR is a form of laser AF. It’s more advanced because you can use it for computer vision for object detection..oh hit wait it can detect people too! I was going to delete your comment because it’s simply not true but want to clarify for anyone else who actually thinks like this guy above lmao

Lidar sensor emits light and measures the time it takes the light to hit an object and return back to the sensor. This way it can measure the distance of objects from the phone. It can be used in cameras for autofocusing objects closer and objects further. It can also be used in augmented reality for the same reason. e.g. When you are viewing a 3D chair in augmented reality and if you get closer, the object will get bigger and if you move away from it, it will become smaller. It's purpose is to help cameras....

Not true. It's used for portrait photography for example.
