The Pogues were one of the world's first musical groups to delve into the Folk Punk genre. From what I've observed so far, all the instruments in a Folk Punk band have to be acoustic with the exception of bass guitar. You'll notice the only electric instrument onstage in this video is Darryl Hunt's bass.
