Paradox is realistically probably my favorite set of S&V. I’ve been hard chasing the IR’s and SIR’s in that set for a long time. It’s a killer set with an actually fun “gimmick” and there’s not too much of the stupid crystal hats in the set.
Agree with twillight its only "good" cause of pullrates :) but thats fine, we want chases ! Also why its hard to predict anything in terms of X set will do well or Y will bomb out, cause we have no clue about pullrates
"Junk wax" in sports cards is cards from the 80d and 90s where packs of cards were sealed with wax. During that era cards were highly over produced and folks were storing sealed boxes for future resale. 1989 Donruss boxes are a good example. A sealed box has been 20 to 30 bucks for 35 years.

Bold statement eli that you would be more worried about if pokemon fell than stocks. Pokemon is the largest MEDIA IP not the largest ip. 90 billion is such a small number compared to the IP owned by companies like microsoft, google apple. Or any of the magnificent 7. And thats not even talking about ip of companies that have government contracts... like if Lockheed Martin plummets 80% thats when people should be worried.
Just stick to the plan folks. New set comes out buy some sealed boxes or cases at the best price you can find set it to the side and go live your life till the next set comes out. I grabbed like 20 total kingdra/greninja collection boxes and it’s going in the closet 🫡
I think the easy money is gone . Same with most things right now . After fees and taxes at end of year you have to double your investment just to see any profit. I have seen so many big yt and collector get out of sealed since the ct scans it’s wild. Diversify and don’t bank on Pokémon to retire kids lol.
