I have roughly 6k hrs in Smite and that’s why I figured I was able to pick up Unite so quickly. I’m in masters rank rn and I still find players that have no brain (don’t run into bots so often anymore) but I fully agree w you, the ranking system is terrible and if I’m top rank I shouldn’t be playing w those that don’t belong there
hahahaha yep! I found it quite easy but also there was just a massive lack of competitiveness for the same reasons as you,which is why i switched to Wild Rift but it's matchmaking is still terrible ha
With Matchmaking, just exit the matchmaking when it hits 30+ seconds into the queue. That is when it is very likely when you will be sent to another country or a bot match is cooking. It is very well known and we all make fun of Timi for that. We also address the Matchmaking situation and Timi have rarely ever made the right situation. And the fact that 95% of the changes were pretty negative.
I will be honest, I would rather have bots as my allies than 80% of the Unite Playerbase because how bad they are. I rather be with a bad AI than horrendous players who trolls all game.
Also if you just close the game and there is no other real player (so you plus 9 bots), you can just close the game and restart it. The game just disappears, because timi don’t want to keep up game where is only bots. Also you are not getting any punishment leaving game against bots. That's if you don’t want to use your time to play against bots, but against real people.
In casual and quick matches it isn't only bots, there can be people but it's very rare. And also the reason why there's so many bots is because this game is dying and the lobby's are very small
The reason why is very obvious & it's right on company logos on each game start up, Tencent Games. They have huge shares in most games, even League & their goal is to make money, not make better games. It's why you get so little resources to buy new Pokemon, they want you to cave & spend money, even if it's marketed towards younger folk. Now to answer your question why ranked has bots: The devs know people want to play ranked asap, but they also know people aren't competent enough to be enjoyable to play with so early. So they make you play with bots for the first few ranks to force you to at least learn the basic controls. I've gotten to 1600 masters in my first month of playing & I've played most MOBAs since OG DOTA so I'll vouch that the games actually fun. Problems arise from small design choices & no teammates being on the same page as you in soloqueue but that's most MOBAs. If you want the secret to the game it's just 1 thing: Save your ult up for when Rayquaza spawns at 2mins. If your team all goes there you'll win (That's a big if, people like to backcap all game)

Yeah, this is a known problem in UNITE and I completely agree. It comes off as very deceptive to me: just be honest about what players are bots. UNITE will also replace dced players with a bot without letting the team know directly (unless they dc very early in the match.) When you get high enough in master rank the bot matches stop, but it takes way too long and players without a good understanding of the game creep into the higher ranks as a result.
I know you meant there's no item builds during the game but I just wanna mention for anyone who's never played: there are items builds but you select them before each game not during.
@@JustPlatBro it's completely different...no matter how good you are in soloQ...u will get wrecked by good teams.....only after playing 5s for months my team started winning...we now have 80% win rate there
Personality I only played rank when I started. Played Decieye the grass owl was stream rolling until I face real players was like my pokemon to weak. Then I got Ttar and been loving the game I just block people from scoring that my fun in the game even a good player struggle with Ttar on a zone it just evolving him first. I think your reading to much into it. If you run into a smurf at beginner rank it would make people quit sooner. I enjoy my easy matches then when I lost I took a break and came back ready to compete. I played like only one casual match since I started.
10 year old Jimmy just download Pokemon unite and thinks that he is the very best, like no one ever was 😂. In master rank your win rate will be 50-60% if you are a good player playing for years. What do you expect 100% win rate.
