It's odd to me such a high-production video, with quite likely several people involved, and no one noticed an entire hand ranking missing from the layout. I wonder how this could happen.

Believe me this was hardly high production ! No scripts and a 15 hour day without proper breaks making it up as I went along- amazed there were not more mistakes !!

About the 4 Of A Kind (he missed out) if dealt on the Community Hand, the Kicker still applies which could even include the Community Kicker so watch not to fold! Especially if a Player bets needlessly to fool you!

A royal flush is not really a separate type of hand. It is simply an ace high, straight flush. You did a great job in explaining the ranking of hands. Couldn't have been any clearer, considering you did it in under six minutes. Straight to the point. Thanks for the refresher.

Could have explained which part of the full house determines who wins if two people have a full house, the pair or the trips. It may seem obvious but every bit of info helps.

Yip - 4 of a kind was somehow missed. I can only explain by saying that this was a chaotic 15 hour day without breaks. I arrived expecting to do a 2-3 hour simple presentation.....to find there were no scripts,a running order or help of any kind. It is a suprise that there were not far more errors made !

@2:57 no they are not all different suits, if you win with a straight which is five cards at least two cards Will have the same suit because there are only four suits in the deck

Noob here and genuinely asking. Is it possible in the game to have both players having Royal Flush? If yes, is there a tie breaker and which suit is better?

I believe the pot would be split or you go by suit and decide you has the greater suit.

No, only one person can get a royal flush. 1 person getting a royal flush requires a minimum of 3 cards of the same suit on the river that matches that player's cards suit. There simply isn't enough cards on the river for 2 players to get a royal flush.

what if there 2 players left and both of them got high card but one if them has an ace and a 6 and the other has a jack and a 5, OR ace with 5 and the other player has jack with 6? who wins?

The Ace wins in that situation always even if the hand is A 5 and A 6 it beats J 5 and J 6

You would also need either 7 and 8 or queen and king to be a straight

Nope, just the high card. In order to get a straight you need 5 consecutive cards (in this case, 6,7,8,9,10; or 9,10,J,Q,K).

Can't happen in texas hold 'em as only a possible 9 cards are in play for 2 players, plus you have to use a minimum of 3 from the flop.

@@malthus101 still could happen in other poker games no suit is better then the others ones in poker spilt pot for all the royal flush holders. lets say the flop is queen king ace turn jack river 10 same suitt. All players in the showdown would split.

Lucas Volpato if it’s the same it goes off the suit of the highest card the order being Spades Hearts diamonds then clubs so a 9 of spades beats a 9 of diamonds

How can a three of a kind say 3 jacks get beaten with 3 deuces? Do i win if i have a deuce and two deuces in the community cards when my opponent has just 2 jacks but there is 1 jack in the community card? Or the other way around Me 2 AOponent J J Community 2 2 J 4 4 DO I WIN?

What you're describing, on the table 2 2 J 4 4 and you have 2 A and your opponent has J J, your best hand turns to 2 2 2 A J (Three of a kind) while your opponent has 2 2 J J J (Full house), your opponent wins because he has a Full house, now lets say you have 2 2 in your hand and your opponent has J J and the table shows K Q 2 J 5, you have 2 2 2 K Q (Three of a kind) and he has J J J K Q (Three of a kind) now you both have three of a kind but your opponent has the higher three of a kind and wins.

D M there's just not enough cards , each player would require at least 3 cards along with there whole cards , but there are only 5 cards , for example I have A K of spades and you A K of hearts , the flop give me queen jack and 10 of spades giving me a royal flush , leaving only the turn and river to be drawn , but you would require queen , jack and 10 of hearts , it's just not possible for two players to have a royal flush , any other hand can be achieved by both players , including the straight flush

+Valentino Martinellit I’ve been playing online with fake money and on one occasion me and another player both had a pair of aces, and another time we both had a straight but I lost both times... why is this?

verceti23 I may not be totally accurate as I'm not sure how the hand played out however the aces may have been that he either had a higher kicker or he may have hit a flush with one of the aces and the straight , he must've had a higher straight than yourself

Honestly depending on where you go some dummies out there consider the king to be the highest car instead of the ace🙄 always confirm what that rule is before you start playing a hand. Don't assume an ace is best. I had a 2 pair ace high and this guy had a 2 pair with kings and he was all smiley and apparently the house rules were king high. So don't make that mistake people. :/
