Me too. Christmas doesn't seem to mean anything to me anymore. I know it should. I know i should feel happy or excited but I don't. I used to love Christmas but now I feel nothing. it's the same at Thanksgiving and my birthday. I just want to feel happy for something. I'm sad that things that should make me happy are meaningless to me. I want to feel something. This was probably a stupid thing to put on the internet but I have no one else to talk to. I feel like my soul is dying.
Isn't it crazy how music reminds you of your childhood... I used to watch this movie when I was younger, it was on repeat everyday. And I still remember this movie, this soundtrack everything...You don't realize how amazing and good those movies are, if you are a child. And now I am discovering so many movies and music again, from my childhood, like Mary Poppins, this movie, Lemony Snicket... I love that.
I believe he was an engineer and at least one of the elves too. And good long time friend Peter Scalari(sp), from bosom buddies was the last boy on the train and other parts.
Not just the story, the animations are just phenomenal. It doesn't look like a movie that came out 12 years ago (wow, can't believe it has been over a decade). Tom Hanks did an amazing job, all of the people involved in the making did amazing. This movie will always be one of those I love and will remember as a beautiful part of my childhood.
I love how they're talking about the best Christmas gift they have ever gotten. The best gift I ever got my Christmas was back in 2010. Back in August of that year my grandfather, my dad's dad, died from brain cancer. So, it was our first ever Christmas without him. That Christmas Day something amazing happened.… We ended up getting a white Christmas, which is something I've never experienced before in my life except in Christmas movies. It was like a gift from my grandfather, and he was saying, "I'm still here guys"
Awk that was such a cute story!!! The best christmas gift I've ever had was me and the family having our third year in our hometown that we've been living in for past couple years, one night it was just nothing next morning it was like blankets and pillows of snow came outta nowhere and dumped all over the streets! It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It stayed that way for a week too!
I watch the Polar Express and Christmas Carol every. Single. Christmas. Whenever I hear that theme music, I just feel like happy-crying for some reason. This is why Christmas is my favorite holiday.
This is one of the most nostalgic experiences i’ll ever have in my life. That christmas feeling every christmas eve, and watching this with my parents. I’ll never forget what this movies done for me ❤️
Tom Hanks is one of the best actors the world has ever seen!!! He truly is and this movie is just one proof of his great talent. Love the movie though, it always makes me cry
I didn't know Tom Hanks was in this movie until one time we watched this movie and my brother asked me if the conductor's voice sounded familiar. First, I didn't but then he told me that it was Woody, I listened again and was shocked. After I found out, the whole movie changed.
Tom Hanks always has been my fav. actor. There is no 1 who can top this versatility. Name one person who has a range like him. He's done all rolls except a horror. Maybe he has done that too, but I can't remember. He's the best in my book. Most major actors have only 1 type of character to play except him. Good job Tom Hanks
This makes me wanna cry. Remember watching this as a kid. 2020 been a bad year and unfortunately it’s ruining Christmas as well. But rewatching Elf, the polar express and a bunch of other classic Christmas movies always bring me Christmas cheer. The good memories. Hopefully 2021 is a better year. I hope everyone can have a nice Christmas and stay safe.

This is my favorite Christmas movie! I love it! I still stay up to five minutes to midnight on Christmas Eve waiting for this train! Tom Hanks you really made this movie magical!
Looking back, the technology wasn’t there yet. The characters look jarring to look at sometimes. Motion capture has definitely gotten so much better in recent times and I hope it can be used as good as this movie was TRYING to be
Christian Duncan Since it was called ABC Family, their audience was aimed at younger children and their families. With a new name, they can change their target audience a bit, while keeping the younger audience
I miss christmas as a kid all the excitement and happiness, esp waking up on christmas morning having to wait was the worse for everyone else to wake up 🤣 I loved having all my family over also which doesnt happen anymore as we all are in different locations now and other family issue! But this year has been so bad with covid no idea how its going to be!
I remember this movie and I love this attraction in Jamestown. I helped the people on this train with a song. I think the people of this movie should know that I drew some pictures on 3 pieces of paper to help with the carol the 12 days of Christmas.
MS Studento preach it man! This is one of the few films (in my opinion) that DOESN’T need a sequel. The Polar Express is a timeless film, that never gets old (needless to say).
