Police drummer Stewart Copeland, 65, plays with the family band Liliac at Ocean Front Walk, #SantaMonica on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Stewart was filming a documentary for the BBC.
Don’t care how old this video is. This band is awesome. I used to go to Santa Monica almost every weekend and would always see them. The kids were younger back then. Thanks for being there!
I don't know what to say other than you all keep blowing me away. Stewart looks great, and is having a blast playing with you. He was so amped up the cord came out of his guitar. Think about it for 1 second, Stewart Copland is jamming with you. And having fun doing it. I can't wait to see what's next. God bless you all, and thank you all for letting your fans be a part of it. Rowe 👍
Fantastic job!!! Awesome!!!! Stewart been a fan for a long time. You are one class act in music sir! Thank you. Liliac Band you're awesome keep rocking!!!!
First time I see Stewart Copeland cut loose on Metallica’s Enter Sandman years after my family and I saw The Police at The Concord Pavilion. He really shows his passion on music even with a younger generation to keep rock music alive. Rock and Roll will survive!
all that musical knowledge and no cable sense....lol it is great to see these kidz out playing live that is the fastest way to learn your craft how to run your gear...... and very proud dad who was let go soon after they finished that Gig
You guys have reached the point where playing along a celebrity is no longer needed as an endorsement. Next stop on your road will be where you will become the heavy weight celeb and have young fans playing alongside you. Like Ozzy or Metallica has kids on stage today.
Stewart should really stay behind the drums. He's having too much fun. Gotta love the energy he still has. I guess you all made him feel like a kid again.
