I am LOVING this series!! I love that you are exploring and not just staying out at Aulani. Getting to know the island, the people, the culture is the way to go. I’m enjoying seeing your mom in the vlogs☺️. She has a wonderful accent - and she has a wicked sense of humour as well 😂 Looking forward to more videos of Aulani / Oahu!! 🌴☀️🌸 Thanks for sharing!!
My husband and I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center 49 years ago on our honeymoon. We floated down the stream in the boat. Needless to say many things have changed since we were there. Thank you for letting us take a journey down memory stream.
My favorite island is Maui but Oahu is second best. My husband and I went to Polynesian in 1983. Long time ago and am sure so much has changed. What I love to do best is go into the museums that are all over each island and drink in the atmosphere and historical facts.
Oh wow the Polynesian Cultural Centre is an incredible place! Definitely has a feel of World Showcase but more immersive. Could easily move into one of those huts. Really makes you feel better on a rainy, dull day in the UK.🦋
@ 39:22 The kind smiles and laughter, I am so HAPPY ADAM you and your Mom are in Hawaii. Our 50th State is very fragile and important, like all special islands and cultures, precious and so important. Glad you found Sharks cove, snorkeling there is amazing on a clear (and less wave day). So cool seeing you two tour Oahu, its amazing and Waimea Botanical Gardens is in Waihiawa (you passed it going to Dole) It's free and alllll the local plant life is there and you stroll through flowers and hear birds singing. It smells amazing too because of the flowers.
This brought back wonderful memories of our trip to Oahu in 2005. The PCC was definitely the high point of my trip. We also had enjoyed a luau and an evening of music/dancing. I purchased a DVD of the show, Horizons, and still enjoy watching it.
What a beautiful day with your mom! Awesome memories, last for a lifetime! Adam has some dance moves! Your mom is such a sweet soul, God Bless her. I know your dad is home enjoying watching these vlogs!! Stay safe.
stunning locations its great to support the local community and experience the culture of the islands loved the swimming hole / beach your mum looks to having a great time
I was surprised you didn’t stay for the luau and show. I did this in the early 90’s. While you may say it’s touristy, they all are and this one was pretty spectacular overall. I enjoyed reminiscing with you and mom from my trip. Keep enjoying! Joe
My grandparents took our family to Hawaii in the late 60’s and we went there. I went there again, with my wife, on a business reward trip around 1987. I have a picture of me doing “The Hula” on stage in a grass skirt.
My husband and I were in Hawaii in 2017. We did a 2 week, 4 Island tour. It has been fun seeing your videos of the places you and your mom have gone. We loved the culture center. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
This is such a great series so far. Haven’t been to Hawaii yet, but it’s on my dream list. You are doing such a great job capturing your experiences that I feel like I’m there with you. Thank you!
Aloha Adam and Mama Woo. I love how you and your mom take in the experience of the Cultural Center. I live on Oahu but don’t do the tourist thing often, but watching your video makes me want do this again. Thanks Adam. Doug
So Beautiful there, that Blue water,,,Oh you just want to jump in...such a nice vacation with your Mom, the Cultural Center was real nice, Thank You, for a Great Tour!! 🌴🌴🌺🌺🏖🏖
I never thought hawaii would have traffic. Glad you and your mama are having a lot of fun! I hope you get to all the Islands someday for those of us who can't travel right now.
Glad you both are having fun! That place you stopped off at at the beginning of the video is Shark’s Cove. It’s definitely a cool place to snorkel. I was born and raised on Oahu and live in Vegas now. It’s always nice to see people visiting “back home”. 🙂👍🏽
I am absolutely loving these vlogs Hawaii is on my bucket list looks so beautiful I have been to Fiji which is gorgeous also but I laughed when you were doing the dance Adam you had some Jed Clampett moves going on there lol, it’s so lovely to see you and your mom having such a nice time together 😊❤️
I have really enjoyed these vlogs!! I have never been to Hawaii, and this makes me feel like I am there. I loved your dancing!!! Your mom is awesome!!!
So far so good!! In my mind Hawaii resembles Heaven on earth!! Looks like you and your Mom are having a fantastic time together!! I am enjoying this series of vlogs, thank you.
I remember seeing a documentary on BYU TV. The Polynesian Cultural Center almost had to close at the beginning because traffic was so low. Then came Elvis and after that, people have flocked to it to experience all the cultures. Elvis had a very positive experience. When he left after filming was done, they placed so many leis he refused to take them off. He was touched by the friendliness of the people he had tears when he left
I was there in 1979. Really enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center too. Fun fact, it’s run by the Mormon church. We got to go to 4 of the islands. I hope you will get to visit more islands in future visits. They’re all so different. I think my favorite is the big island of Hawaii. 😊
I just got home from work, and what a nice way to end my day, enjoying the beauty of the Hawaiian culture with Adam the Woo and Muma Woo.Myself and everyone we are all enjoying those awesome videos. From Universal Jamie.
“I feel better already, I feel healthy“! So funny! What a beautiful place. I’ve always wanted to go to one of the islands in Hawaii. However, the flight has always deterred me. I am in Michigan Central. I would have to fly to LA then Hawaii, that would be a very long day. As beautiful as it is there, I’m thinking it might be worth it. Maybe one day. Thank you so much for taking me on your vacation! Your mom is so darn cute! Adam, keep on being you!❤️👍
Takes me back to the 70's when my family and I traveled to Hawaii a few times! (Yeah, I'm old 🙄) Hope you get to enjoy some poi. 😊 So glad you are experiencing all of this with your mom! That said, some things just can't be unseen... 😂
What wonderful memories this vlog brought back of our visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center many years ago. So happy you and your mom got to experience it ❤️
If you want somewhere cool to snorkel go to Hanauma Bay. It's busy but awesome, You can also rent equipment there. The famous Halona blow hole is really near and awesome. The Pali lookout is also near and is a very important spot where a great battle took place to unite all the Hawaiian Islands under the rule of King Kamehameha, and the view from the Pali lookout will take your breath away.
Awesome video Adam there was a Awesome Island river parade. You and your mom should’ve stayed for. It is totally amazing all the tribe showcase there islands and beautiful dances on the rafts they also have a great luau at the end of the night love y’all your videos are awesome & amazing I love watching you and your mom having such a great time there Enjoy ❤️😍

I want to thank you Adam, you are doing things in Hawaii that I didn’t get a chance to do and I love seeing this! I actually looked up that Tiki maker you showed the other day. The dancing was interesting. I saw a more refined form of hula (probably done for tourists) when I was there, but the one you saw looked more authentic. Also, you got the magnet I would have picked, lol.
Hi Adam, I’m just love following along with you and your mom. You are definitely giving me lots of ideas for things to do when I go to Hawaii. I just can’t wait but I still a ways away (end of February 24). Thanks for taking us along. 💜
I don't like coconut either but I do like coconut water it has a very. Bland flavor compared to the flakes and it hydrate you more than water !!! And your mom is such an amazing lady I love when she is in the vlogga,,,, Best wishes from NY
Everything is so beautiful there. Thank you so much Adam and mommy for bringing this amazing place to us. Looking forward to seeing more in future videos. Here’s a 🤗for you and your mom
I remember the McDonalds right by the center is where I got my first teriyaki burger. I was hoping you went to see the Arizona at Pearl Harbor. My grandpa had a house overlooking Pearl Harbor. I lived there till I moved to California in 1962. My mom was 10 when she watched the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I still call it home.
Those views from your room are stunning. How comforting to know that as a DVC member you won't say goodbye at the end of your stay but "see you again" .
I have been to Hawaii many times, but I have never been to the Polynesian Cultural Center, next time I go I will have to make a trip out there. Thanks Adam!!!
I stayed at a house right off the Hukilau beach with family there, and went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, and just so happened to run into a dear friend from California, who was working in the Hawaii village there.
