In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Yes, we need to lay down sin in this life, with the help of the Holy Spirit, but He will complete the work. 1 Pe 5:10 KJV But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Yep, I want to keep it comfortable for everyone. Not everyone wants to know about something that doesn't yet have approval from the Church.

The concept of purgatory is an approved doctrine in the Catholic faith. We are called to pray for the suffering Holy Souls so they can be released and delivered up to heaven soon as possible bc they can no longer pray for themselves by offering masses, alms, sacrifices and indulgences. They in turn will pray for us and they will intercede on our behalf even moreso if they know and see we have been praying for them..Most souls are released on Christmas. The St Gertrude prayer release 1000 souls with each prayer..A whole rosary of this prayer on each bead releases 50,000 souls.

I guarantee you that every Catholic out there knows that the word Purgatory is not in the Bible! I know this as well. However, the *meaning* and definition is in several parts of the Bible! This is the biggest confusion that Protestants have with Catholics. Your Bible may not have this, because it was taken out. For us, we have the authentic Word of God and nothing has been omitted or reworded. We have taken everything exactly as God has said, whereas Martin Luther changed everything to make it more acceptable.

Actually it is in the Old Testament. It’s not called purgatory. I will find it. The first bible is the real bible. God bless.

Interesting. ..there is no word "trinity" in the Bible either but somehow people of all denominations believe in the Holy Trinity. The Bible belongs to the Catholic Church. And those who ran off with it still believe in the Trinity, but decided to weaponise it for all other things with the classic "where is that in the Bible?" .... Purgatory is in a way eluded to, much like you see clues leading us to understand the very thing the Catholic Church defined as The Holy Trinity.

There’s also no mention of establishing new protesting churches either in direct contradiction to His teachings. Jesus prayed that ‘they be one as we are one’ and founded one Church on the rock of St Peter, the first Pope.
