Can someone explain to me why this channel doesn't have a million subscribers! I love the way you feel like you are driving the car. The whole production is amazing! Well done!
Having been blessed to drive all 3, thanks to our beloved friend, the LAF is 100% the most theatre, the Porsche is 100% the most useable but the P1 for me is the real driver focused car, felt way more agile, incredible seating position, razor sharp steering and phenomenal view of the road ahead and ultimately the one that really keeps you on your toes as it would kill you in a heartbeat, lights up for fun, all unbelievable cars that as you say were so far ahead of their time 😮💨😮💨😮💨
You lucky dog! That's like bucket list stuff for someone like me. 🤧 I don't care that the LaF ain't the best of the 3. I'd have it just for that glorious V12. I've been in awe of it right from the time *_Powerslidelover_* posted clips of driftin it around Spa n in the Alps. That and Chris Harris's comparison of the Holy Trinity along with Tiff Needell have always stuck to my mind.
IMHO, The 918 is awesome! Still packs the ultimate sense of thrill! Though the P1 is also my favorite! The LaF’s theatricals are still special too! It’s hard to have a favorite of the bunch! That said, the best package with its sense of speciality for me has to be the 918…
@@rahulmandala4930 I think I read somewhere that the 918's battery systems are less finicky compared to the other 2 n so havin one long term is less stressful in comparison. The P1 is like a scalpel, the 918 is like a hacksaw n the LaF is like a jack hammer n that's exactly why I love the thing. 🤣
So back in 2013 I could have bought a Porshe 918 Spyder for $900,000, put a couple thousand miles in it every summer for 10 years, then sold it for $1,500,000 in 2024? It's good to be rich...
And if you were a US buyer you’d have had 10 years of VIP privileges to buy any of the impossible to get GT cars at MSRP! I literally know of people making the entire purchase price of their 918 Spyder back just in the other specialty Porsche models they were able to acquire 🤦🏻♂️
I'm satisfied with my 1997 996.1 3.4 manual with no electronics except the mirrors, side windows and sun roof. No hybrid systems, no driving nannies, only pure driving. Less money on car more to spend on gas, hotels, food and beverages. Insurance is literary "free" and I have 30k km coverage. A lot of "hypercard" owners lease or rent their car, some have only 2k insurance coverage. and never use their car for what it was intended.
The reason why the New Porsche 992 turboS is so good at acceleration and driving capability is because it was overseen by the same engineer who was brought in for this 918 project and that was Dr Frank-Seffan Walliser …. Brilliant job on both vehicles…..
Beautiful car. I hope you had the road closed considering how often you were going over the center line though. I assumed you did, but several shots have what looks like other random cars.
Between the 918’s 3,616 lbs and the LaFerrari’s 3,495 lbs, there’s just a 121 lb difference. Though the P1 floating a hair around 3,000 lbs and incorporating hybrid tech is pretty neat!
Cool Video, but you seem to not be that emotional. In the Enzo your emotions involved me a way more into the car. Normaly I am a real Porsche Fanboy, but in the trinity I don't know, if I love the 918. The V12 of the LaFerrari and the Turbo-Emotions in the P1 appear me to be more special.
No doubt an amazing car and the design still continues to grow on me after all this time. Still, with that kind of money I'd get a Carrera GT every single time. It's not even a comparison.
That is incorrect. I live in the mountains and I have both a 918 and a LaFerrari and I can guarantee you that nothing touches a 918 on a mountain road. The traction afforded by the 4wd and 4ws system offers crushing superiority over any other production car up in the twisties. LaFerrari is king of the Autobahn.
@@Mr995pippofun fact, the true weight of the laferrari is 1600kg not 1350kg like Ferrari want you to believe. Thesame way everyone is shitting on the AMG one for being 1700kg and calling the Valkyrie 1.1 tonnes when in reality the Valkyrie is 1500kg
