The Porsche Experience Center, Atlanta!

The Porsche Expreience Center has a number of roles although predominantly it is a testing circuit where you can rent a Porsche and receive either instruction in how to drive it fast or be a passenger on a demonstration lap or two. Another one of its roles is to serve as a place where you can take delivery of your new Porsche and receive the ‘factory’ experience. It also has a museum and Porsche can even restore your own Porsche here too.
My friend James and I rented a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a GT3 for 90 minutes to see what they are like. Let me show you around so you can see what it is like there and what you might enjoy.

My office building is on the exact opposite side of the airport on the North side as well. I see a LOT of Porsches when I go to lunch!

Wow, can't believe they keep it open in the rain. Fantastic video. My son and I also enjoyed the experience and pieced together a video. We had planned to take two rides in one day. Glad we did not. We were fatigued after only driving a little over an hour a Panamera. The next day, we were ready, drove 911 turbo. What a BLAST. @

Thanks a lot! Yes, it’s so cool, isn’t it? Not cheap but spending 90 minutes in a GT3 and a Turbo S is something I’ll never forget. Worth every penny!

Also, the PEC in Atlanta is used as the Avengers HQ in most of the movies (after they stopped using Stark Tower)

Very nice video, Jay. Will the facility allow people to take their own cars out on the track area to try the different features, or do you just have to use their cars? I think there would be a lot of value in taking your own car out there.

You can take your own car out, yes. They have sessions for that. If you buy a new car, they give you 90 minutes in the car that you bought too.

I bought a Ford Raptor in 2019 and it came with a day at the Ford Performance School out in Utah. It was a great way to experience the capabilities of the truck. We even got to take a few jumps.

Yes, for the Raptor it’s Utah. For the Mustang I think they have a place in Charlotte. They also do a driving experience in Asheville for the ST versions such as the Explorers.

What did you buy at the gift shop? The last time I was at the Rodeo Drive shop I wanted a Pen till I saw the prices. Then in Vegas, I saw this really nice Exhaust that they turned into a speaker bar that was awesome till I saw the price and it was more than a basic exhaust for my car.
