When a little kid I dreamed about cars, and then at 32 after a lot of hard work, real hard work, I had my first 911. And it was a dream come true, everyday, except when buying furniture at Ikea: nothing is totally perfect!
I disagree. Many people won’t be able to afford a Porsche, ever. Can they not enjoy them too? You’re not an enthusiast if a car is just a status symbol to you. In fact - you’re the worst kind of Porsche driver with that attitude. (I’m not referring to you personally).
Well I don't live the life of luxury looking at the home the Porsche in the video pulls out of. I don't use my Porsches as "daily drivers" simply because I have a non-Porsche that I use as one, plus it is far more practical. And even if I were in that position, I have far too much respect for quality. My two 911s are toys and I could never call them "it is just another car" as some Porsche owners have told me. It is too bad they feel that way.
Not really if the front seats are adjusted for any normal driver. Try cleaning the rear window and rear quarter panel windows...easily, you need to power the front seats forward. But it being a four-seater is why insurance is a bargain for these cars.
My favorite everyday usability commercial they ever did was the one where the dad uses his 911 to pickup bags of concrete mix at the hardware store, and tosses one in the frunk.
EDIT: found the commercial I was talking about. He actually drops 3 bags of garden soil into the frunk at the hardware store: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zh9c_V9ocyg.html
