Dude, thanks for doing this! I worked for Clean and Safe during this time, and spent every day going up to the courthouse blocks to clean garbage and scrub graffiti. Got spit on more times that i can count, while scrubbing anti trump, and ACAB graffiti off walls, windows, benches and light poles. Portland has gone so far downhill. I miss when the rest of the country thought that oregon was just a big forest full of lumberjacks. I can't wait to read the book! I've had a lot of contact with most of the Portland Police, and as far as the ones I've spent time around, they're really damn good people. I feel awful for what they went through, and still continue to go through. Also, Tommy, I doubt you'll see this, but if you do, please tell Dan (i think he became Sergeant last year) that "Anthony said he hope's you're doing awesome!" ✌🏻🖖🏻
I'll get the book, mostly for Tommy's perspective, even though I lived it as a citizen. For fear of writing my own book here in the chat, I will just say, Portland citizens are so far gone, I don't think any amount of therapy can bring them back from that level of fake stream media brainwashing.
