The Possible FREE Content For Warhammer 3 At The SKULLS Event?

I don't like to ruin the fun, but, because no one is talking about the fact that the golgfan leaks started shortly before the presentation of the Warhammer skull and that only golgfan appears and there's nothing but him inside the game data as if he's just ready to get into the game, as if you are going to appear soon, close to the date on which an FLC is going to be filed

Karanak would be an excellent LH in my opinion and if there is one character I really want to see as a LL in the Khorne DLC in the future it is Skulltaker

They also had a generic hero option released once. The Black Orc Big Boss was I believe a Skulls special release when the Greenskins got their rework. So it could also be a new generic hero of some kind rather than a legendary one. Still, I'd prefer Khorne's good boy to be the release because Khorne sort of needs a bit more flavor to it right now and a non-humanoid legendary character is still a rare sight.

Rogue trader has a dlc on the store page scheduled for next month if memory is correct. So showing it off would make sense.

I think an FLC lord could also work well. That is, taking an existing character like The Red Duke or Sarthorael and making it a playable LL. The character models are there and it would be easy to do. I also think it would help make CA better PR because they are still in deep water. Thrones of Decay may have been good, but that still doesn’t erase the Shadows of Change controversy and the extended period of time where we saw no content. I believe an FLC Lord release would help more than a Legendary Hero.

Still feels bad how realms of ruined ended up. AoS could really use some solid games.

I think the Cerberus rig was used for Karanak in the Legendary Characters mod, so I don't see this being a problem to reuse it for Karanak.

It'd be amusing to have Karanak as a legendary lord. He's the one Khornate character smart enough not to talk, after all. Clearly a tactical genius. That aside, he'd probably need some way of reaching the flying mages to be actually effective as a mage-hunter, though. Like, there are very few spellcasters, generic or legendary, that are totally groundbound.

If anything for a Josef Bugman rumors, I would love to see him in this format. Would be easy enough to make. Mostly recycled images for his buildings, a simple kitbash of Dwarf parts and some very basic animations, and only really one new model if they can't rig things up from pre-existing stuff but his voice lines could be very basic and easy enough to get a few lines for. 01. Make his starting position variable. Do not make his starting position fixed to just one region, but give him a few locations he could go to which makes him close to a Legendary Lord of an Ordertide faction which will allow him to be an early Co-Op starter. Your friend likes the Empire? Start your campaign at Altdorf and be able to help him secure his territory and then assist in beating down the threats around him as well. How he expands his cities is visiting and paying some gold with a faction he has a non-aggression/trade pact with (Trading being beer as something he makes himself, but he can gain additional resources through his trade deals and settlements if the local owner builds the resource building). 02. Give his buildings variable effects. Changeling did well, but one thing that I think for a more overt version would be that your buildings should give more support. In this case it is order vs chaos/evil/whatever so make it where if there are order factions in control of the area the Bugman's buildings/undercity gives actual garrison troops, special effects, or larger buffs depending on how high you make it. If you want to get really spicy, make it where larger settlements get larger support due to better infrastructure (Imagine a T5 undercity settlement that gives a small bonus garrison of Dwarf Rangers and some basic warriors, plus something like rowdy or increased defenses at higher levels of buildings). However, if the place is taken by chaos/evil then his instead offer debuffs and turns the garrison into reinforcements for ordertide armies coming to reclaim the area (If your friend loses Altdorf your men are doing raiding parties to lower recovery rates, steal gold per turn, and basically lower some stats of local armies due to constant ambushes keeping them off-balance). 03. Focus less on grudges. This may seem blasphemous, but I do think that a focus on the Grudge system in its current state would only harm a Bugman playthrough if he is a supportive horde faction. Not only that, but many of the debuffs one would get from the grudges being low might not really hinder him so it would feel like a waste to even use it. Instead, perhaps we can have him focus on the 'Legendary' Grudges instead as long-term goals with his having some unique ones to eventually wipe out the Greenskin LL's? Make it where if someone plays him the Greenskins will get a silent boost to their faction potential as well to keep them around longer and make them a more daunting threat. 04. Perhaps faction restoration? Hard to find the right idea for this, but I wanted to see what would happen if we have him additionally helping factions and restoring them to make potential allies and trade partners who are lost to the evils of the world. If Bretonnia is wiped out before you get to them, then by destroying Grom/Whoever else is there maybe you can restore the place to the now destroyed faction, not only making them a potential ally (due to 'restoration' bonuses) but also be given either a free undercity bit or a discount for future ones in their territories, so long as you aren't at war. It would be for the factions who are native to that area, so you could give all of Bretonnia to the Lady or the King, if you so wished. You could restore the Empire to its original state or give it all to Franz. You could bring back all the Clans who were destroyed in the mountains, or give it all to Thorgrim, etc. 05. No trespassing penalties with ordertide factions and local buffs. Simple as that. Aside from maybe Wood Elves and Lizardmen, I figure Cathay, Dwarves, Humans, and maybe to a lesser extent Ogres might be willing to let you through their lands without too much issue. Local buffs could be for any Ordertide faction you are either in a non-aggression or in an alliance with as Bugman being in the area and selling off his beer could give public order bonuses, growth bonuses, maybe an economy stimulant or even impart special effects to allied armies such as lowered/perfect vigor if he's a high enough level. Mind you, all of this is flying by the seat of my pants. I would love to hear anyone's additional ideas over this. I imagine one of his mounts being a 'Bugman Cart' which is really just a fancy support chariot with some crossbowmen riders like a War Wagon. Their main role is to hang back just behind the support line and provide large buffs for allies which includes increased leadership, maybe more melee attack, and perhaps something dumb like Rowdy as long as they're within range. If not a buff from his mount, perhaps instead his army and local allies get 'Rowdy' while he's supporting the army?

I think we're more likely to get Scyla as a LH in Skulls, because Karanak seems like the obvious choice to be the LH in Arbaal's DLC.

I think unironically Valnir will be good addition for Nurgle factions as LH

I believe Owlcat did say Rogue Trader is getting its first dlc soon. They just finished the final dlc for their last game Wrath of the Righteous so I wouldn't be surprised to see a trailer.

The only character that is not yet in the game that could possibly deserve the honour of being the 100th Legendary Lord is Thanquol

I'm not gonna lie, I would love to have some sort of lore of undeath using lord for the 100th lord :D ...but then I remember Nagash mod already exists and it's honestly all it needs to be and it already makes me happy... so maybe someone else should do the honors of being the 100th ^^'

Usually skulls are linked to the latest dlc. However, the most recent dlc was linked to the second most recent dlc. Really don't think they start Khorn with anything for free. Understand the obvious connection to Khorn though.

Karanak would be great, especially with how much magic has been going around in the game. Shadows of Change gave us stuff with Tzeentch and Kislev's hags, while Thrones of Decay gave us more Nurgle magic Elspeth and turning Gelt into the ultimate mage lord. So having an anti-magic character for Khorne would be very useful for his faction who lacks any magic at all.

My money is on Bugman as LH

I feel that them releasing Karanak might be timed to proceed a Khorne DLC. I felt like if Karanak is coming than that will hint at the theme for the next major DLC. On a side note, I really wish Games Workshop would give Khorne archers in the lore as him having them does not contradict the lore for Khorne to my knowledge and archery requires a lot of skill.

Khorne vs Slaanesh in the future maybe? Dogs of war as an flc race. Then Estalia and Telia dlc for faction specific units for both. Really hope we get the Blood Nagga as a race as well. Looking forward to the road map. Oh and yes on more Darktide content. It needs more of everything really. New classes, weapons, enemies, maps and mission types.

Must preface with I KNOW it's an AoS character, and after GW's stance on Tzaangors, we definitely wouldn't get him in WH3, BUT, I'd love to see a Skalok style Khorne Dragon. Skalok being the godbeast that Vorgaroth the Scarred rides, and Vorgaroth being a WHF character who made it into AoS later, I doubt he or Skalok would appear, but with CA's stance (if it carries over from SoC and ToD) being that they want to fill out rosters and have big centerpiece units (Mutaliths, Incarnate Elementals, Most of Cathay's additions, Landships, Toad Dragons, and Thunderbarges) I think it would be a cool addition to see Khorne dragons get added for them. Putting them in as Mounts for the Khorne WoC lords as a nod to Vorgaroth would be pretty cool IMO.

To be honest, I hope the Khorne DLC will have any charackter but Scylla. I hate this stupid ape. Give me Arbaal the undefeated, Khabanda, Uzhul or Skarr Bloodwrath. The mortals would fit cause Nurgle got Tamurkhan. And Epidemius. So the DLC could be one mortal and Uzhul. Atleast I hope so. Enough brainless khorne charackters like Skarbrand.

There has been no Khorne content for any Skulls event prior to this, and only once (the Bone Giant) was it even related to skulls at all. The name does not determine what the content is going to be. The chance seems slim, but I'd love to see a FLC LL for Tzeentch (hopefully Egrimm). They got screwed over in SoC and are now going to be stuck behind for the entire DLC cycle unless something dramatic happens. Both Khorne and Slaanesh are still going to have their time in the sun, but Tzeentch has no other real opportunities.

Hey Nathan top Content as always, allthough i would love to see you branching out, Warhammer is facing dark times and i would hate to see you, and other awesome creators, getting dragged down with it.

You know it would be nice if they added extreme unit size for Warhammer 3 like how they did with three kingdoms in an upcoming up date to make battles bigger and more brutal especially since it would mean more skulls for the skull throne.

Space marine 2 already has a Release date. 9th of September. As for Karanac (I think that's how it's spelt) 100 agree!

They could give an FLC VC lord idk it doesnt have to be something major a blood knigh Legendary lord/hero that buffs blood knighs just to give an extra play style to VC they havent had anything going for them for a long time and maybe it could be helpful for a possible neferata DLC with Aborash as a Legendary hero

Is there any reason why Bugman couldn't be a Legendary Hero at this point? He's the only major Dwarf character left and since Malakai is already a ranged lord with horde mechanics it doesn't feel like he'd make it in as a lord.

I hope Hotseat Mode is part of dat free content. 🐶

I may have been a bit of a warhammer 3 addict and went back and bought the character i actually had n o intention of buy simply for the units even though i don't play Empire plz send help my wallet is going to rebel because of this game.

Bretonia urgently needs an overhaul more units, a revised peasant system and a greater influence of the Lady as 3 (nice) bonuses for your Lords and Heroes and the favour I'd also like to see a Lizardlord campaign that focuses on restoring the old balance of power, restoring the old days before the gates collapsed and chaos took hold of the world or perhaps a reverse End Times campaign. a campaign that aims to defeat chaos and all evil once and for all, rather than the other way round
