Wonderful lecture. Re-assembly of monuments is a topic that I have been interested in for quite a long time. I always felt that computer imaging could make an often very difficult job so much easier.

This was a very interesting talk, thank you so much for giving it. I am fascinated by the fragments being lost in time and then being reassemble virtually as they appear and are photographed in various collections - a very 21st century technological achievement. Some of the images used in the presentation were out of focus, is it possible to correct this in some way please?

I'm rather weary of some of his work on Akhenaten. He re-capitulates a lot of conjecture on the subject, but yet he won't come down on the line. 'Amarna Sunset' was a 'pop' work. It SHOULD have been handled more scholarly, and equivically. I DON'T CARE WHAT he thinks, about King Akhenaten's personal attitude. He also tends toward donald redford's Afrikan prejudices.

Everything in Egyptology is wrapped in speculattion, but Aidan Dodson seems to apply Occam's Razor regularly to support the simplest explanations.
