Great video! Thanks for sharing with those of us that really like E's & F's pulling passenger coaches. Many, Very Good shots. I also liked the video because I could hear the Trains without needless talking or BAD music playing over it! Thanks again for sharing with us the time and work you put in to making this video.

I remember seeing this railroad in the America By Rail DVD pack! I remember that 722 was in a different livery at that point!

Wasn’t there a rumor that the railroad wanted to buy a 2-8-0 for operation?? Heard it was a former Grand Canyon LS&I consolidation.
@DynamoProductions-trains
@DynamoProductions-trains 4 года назад
I hadn’t heard that rumor. The new owner of Potomac Eagle had previously been involved with the Grand Canyon Railway. Steam had been discussed as a possibility, but Potomac eagle doesn’t really have an infrastructure to support steam operation. They don’t even have indoor storage.

@@DynamoProductions-trains I read on Casshews that they were buying the former Yreka Western McCloud 2-8-2 from the Age of Steam Roundhous.

If you ever come down to the Stewartstown Railroad any time soon, you just might run into me on the Plymouth or 44 ton. I'm currently a fireman trainee there. We also have a Gramling 0-4-0 that visits periodically as well.

This is the only b&o engine I've ever seen running in modern time's. Speaking of which how come know one's restored a b&o steamer yet?
@DynamoProductions-trains
@DynamoProductions-trains 4 года назад
The B&O Museum operated the William Mason from 1998-2012, and also ran the replica of Lafayette for a number of years. The issue with most B&O steam still around is how old they are, and none really suited in size for tourist operation.
@daskriegsman7013
@daskriegsman7013 4 года назад
@@DynamoProductions-trains Oh ya forgot about those 2. Are the other B&O steamers to big or to small for tourist railways?
@mrshea924
@mrshea924 4 года назад
@@daskriegsman7013 They're too big. Also, when WMSR 734 was renumbered to WM 729, I wanted her to be B&O 2734.

@@DynamoProductions-trains Ah man I'm gonna miss it on the Potomac Eagle at least sits in a place were FPA-4 units are well at Home as they are the back bone of the Grand Canyon railway diesel locomotive fleet even though they have F40FH locomotives They are still used on some occasion's particularly in the Winter months As a historic note the Grand Canyon railway owns the last FPA-4 built number 6793
