I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where RU-vid started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

Our worship team will be singing this on Sunday, Mother's Day. Love this worship song! I accepted the Lord in 1967, when I was 17. 🙌 I am turning 74 in a few days, but the more important birthday is on June 16th, when I celebrate being born again into God's family: 57 yrs living in a relationship with Jesus🎉. Since I was little as young as 9 I remember my mom playing this song in her car every sunday evening after church when we would go visit my grandma. I am now 20 years old and this is one of my favorite Hillsong songs. I was just singing it today and it brought me to tears. I use it and the lyrics as a way to rededicate my life to Christ.

This was a time when They were still listening to Jesus and His Word. The lights music, singers musicians never matter. Nowadays, they just conformed to the WOrld. Imagine worshipping in the dark, choosing their musicians who look good on camera and rockstars. Their songs never mentioned Jesus anymore nor do they put lyrics according to the Bible

Yes I agree with you. They are NOT the same Hillsong I knew and saw than what they were before. The songs they have seems to be wild and musicians looks like they're in worldly concert, having tattoos and have a long hair. Darlene also has changed her outlook the way she dressed up. I acquired a book from a yard sale a couple years back, it was Written by Brian Houston.... Glory to God, it lead me to rededicate myself to Jesus...I came across Hillsong music last year when i learned how to use Utube

When I hear this song, all I want to do is surrender myself anew to God, and I think that is the essence of worship: to empty ourselves before a holy God and let Him fill us with Himself and have our way with us.
