I'm speechless... This is by far some of the BEST musicianship I've ever seen. The way they communicate and are constantly changing to what the message is saying and HOW they are saying it is a Master Class in adapting on the spot fluidly. Yes, they use common runs, themes, patterns and such that they can recycle but HOW they play them and WHEN they play them is always changing. Their ability to communicate and understand is beyond quick. That's a LOT of words for someone being speechless huh? lol
I'm still learning the number system as I learn scale. This is the first and ONLY time that I see, understand and more importantly, FEEL the anointing in the communication within a band pit. No one was on autopilot. There was a sincere flow and everyone was complimentary of one another. Thanks gentlemen!
Amen!! I’ve been physically searching for a place to play with a group of musicians to put into practice what I learned in school. What a blessing!!!🙏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
This is the most valuable behind the scene musical experience I've ever had in my life. Thanks to youtube and to the one who had the brilliant idea of uploading this vid to youtube.
Awesome Job Folks ! Great example of being in tune and sensitive to where the service is going. I know most churches including my church have gotten so use to just making arrangements that are predefined and the same every time. True Gospel Musicians, God Bless !
This is beautiful. I love the camaraderie among the brothers as minstrels for the master Christ Jesus , and most of all you are having fun while worshipping. Bless God 🙏🏽
How I miss playing in this kind of atmosphere! I’m a percussionist that doesn’t play typical Latin beats. I play according to music and Spirit. So many churches these days playing “programmed” music. It hurts my soul😢 I love your sound and abilities!
This is it! Love the chemistry and how you feel each other throughout the song. I wish there was more of this out there, the skill/talent, anointing and just good old fashioned enjoying yourself through music and lifting him up in the process. Cant fake it!
I love this! They flow with each other without seeming programmed. and NO skinny jeans and spiked hair and fake English accents. and the music is awesome and powerful not dull and one or two chords like the CCM world where you can play piano and fall asleep at the keys because you never play more that one or two notes.
Unh unh, naw nall, where the musicians with the hoodies on? baseball caps, skinny jeans and man buns to the roof? and Tee shirits with pictures of Tupac and Prince? I got dogged out for making a dress code like these EXCELLENT musicians are dressed they said musicians don't wear suits anymore.
Absolutely incredible! Such skill, precision, control and class! What a heavenly sound. All the glory to god for blessing these men with incredible gifts.
I’ve been back to this video like 89 times in the past 48 hours just to enjoy the musical ability and anointing y’all got! Man y’all be jamming 😂❤ God bless
I be sweating bullets trying not to get fired playing basic and Mike over there smiling and enjoying God with his gift like nobody's business!!! Lol, God is Good!!!!
Thank you Lord for this platform!!! You guys have no idea how appreciative we are for you sharing this worship experience from the pit!! I completed my music degree in TN (Nashville Number System Capital) and then moved to another state. I continue to learn and play by myself and have been praying God show me where to go expand and apply what He has called me to do!! I’ll be strapping on my bass and playing along with you guys on a regular so I can learn how to flow to where Worship takes you and not just a song or cookie cutter arrangements!!! Anointed Master Class in session!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
This band is flames... drummer also killing it there around 11:30. Everybody here is flames🤕😭 Must I cry now or wait a little bit? Can't stop watching this.
Been enjoying your content man, from the pit. Super dope. I’m noticing 2 laptops. Looks like stems on the left (is it touch screen, seems like I see you making adjustments on the display) and VST’s on the right going to the Motif. What software you use to for performance. Looks like you have a stack open. I use MainStage a lot. I have some custom templates I use. I’m always interested in how other guys set up.
Amazing musicianship! Shows how great the Yamaha Motif workstation he's playing is- an ES8 88 key! And a real Hammond organ which is better sounding then all the digital organs.
When musicians dress like they're in the house of God they play skillfully with the anointing oh God. No hats no disrespect of the Lord's House I commend these brothers God bless you.
For those who are unaware, TD Jakes' believes in modalism, which is a heretical teaching. Modalism believes that God sometimes acts as the Father, sometimes as the Son, and sometimes as the Holy Spirit. Trinitarianism, which is the belief system that true Christians believe in, is the belief that God is three persons, simultaneously, in one. That is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist together at the same time.
Question: when calling out the numbers, are they majors, minors, or diminished? How would one know? I hear diminished and majors. What's the secret formula? the secret sauce? Thanks!
Brief explanation, the musicians are in a major scale and each degree (key) will either be major, minor or diminished. So in the key of C, the numbers 1, 4, 5, correspond to C, F, and G, and those chords are almost always major. 2, 3, 6, corresponds to D, E, and A, are almost always minor. 7, which is B, is almost always a diminished chord. And that's how they know. 😄
I had an ES 8....I needed a roadie to lug that thing around... excellent keyboard but to much trouble for me to transport 😂😂😂. He is obviously the band leader. He looked at the organist as though he was supposed to ask permission to go take a piss.
