Anytime a defender can do what his stats are supposed to do, y’all say it’s overpowered. Not sure why the 2k community hates defense and big men so much

From what I see perimeter defense is still garbage..Look how you gotta play off him at times on the perimeter to not get blown by easily..Instead of them making it where you can shuffle your feet and play REAL head up perimeter defense,they just boosted the steals back up and boosted the right analog steal function which has always been there,just boosted and given a new name.Even with the fast feet badge it doesn’t help you play head up defense,it just gives you a speed boost AFTER you’ve already been blown buy.smh
Very true. I actually experienced this last night. I was playing the correct defense and I was still getting beat to the rim. So I tried playing distantly and then he would shoot or use a screen. So I was in a losing situation regardless because I was still trying to figure out the loop hole when it comes to the right stick. 🤣🤣🤦🏿♂️
that’s what ur teammates are for. shouldnt be thinking about dribbling or getting a bucket im wit a lock down. i got 25 ball handling and still can get to the rim. also got back door cuts and off ball screens to score lmfaoo
Why but? I’m a hybrid defender and my whole build is based around good defence. Your probably a pg who keeps getting blocked and ripped with someone with a 95 steal and 90+ block
@@21cabbage97 Nice assumption, I’m a two way that used to run pure lock. Defense gets nerfed every year, I used to run a pure defender from when I started playing in 17. For me I use two ways now but I make sure I have enough offense to be effective after the nerfs.
@@21cabbage97 Yea I’m really liking how fast feet, clamps, challenger and 94 feet are working. I’m locking up all of the PGs I face. But I’ve also seen locks get cooked so I think defense is fine tbh, my unpluck is on bronze but I haven’t got ripped - I also don’t try to play like a dribble god so I guess that helps
@@raiderjedi4160 yeah fair call, i’v been struggling with defence Badges. Interceptor, glove and clamps have hardly moved and I average 2 steals a game in park
I swear I never can get right stick steals for right stick ripper with my lock. I got gold glove but when I try to reach with the right stick I can’t steal it.
