I Just Sent This To My Dad! We had a 1976 Scout II and enjoyed a lot of amazing adventures in it while spending time in the Colorado Rockies! I am very excited to find a solid Scout II one day soon and start the my story with my kids and invite my dad for a few missions as well! Keep up the great work Sean and Team Anything Scout!
Yes I get it man! I recently had the transmission cover or access plate off of mine For some wirk and I drove it for a few days with it off and discovered a bew world! I could see the road wizz by anf hear the gears mesh and wine and smell the old oil burning on the manifolds it reminded me if my old Uncles tractor when I was a kid ! It brought back the basis of my addiction to old vehicles they are alive Thanks for your videos and content! I always look forward to it!
Great Video! We took an International Scout on our honeymoon 41 years ago today. We did some 4wheeling in the Colorado Rockies. 3 Flat tires and 1 speeding ticket… (but officer I’m on my honeymoon…. ). I still have a Scout and the wife!
Got the new wire harnesses for my old rig this week. Hoping to have her back on the road soon! Been too long! 1979 Scout ii, resurrected from the scrap heap.
Love this. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 76 Scout II and it's been a freedom for me to simply get out of the house more often, especially in the last year. I'm really enjoying the yellow color on these rigs. I noticed it on your 72 Sunrise, from the Runner series. Is the color of these all "Sunrise Yellow"? I've looked at old IH color palettes but they never quite matched what I see on your trucks. Any clue on how I where find the right paint tone to give my body shop?
@@NewLegend4x4 Fyi there's still hope for IH Iron whether running old IH engines or Ls engines. Several automotive manufactures are working on gasoline to hydrogen production units that can be adapted to such power plants. I think Motortrend just did an article on it as well as several university papers proving such production is very near and very cost effective. So ole iron could live on another 50 yrs if maintained. May be worth checking into.
