Bryan Hawk vs Takamura was imo one of the top 3 fights in Hajime no Ippo, both anime and manga. The build up was perfect and it made you hate him, yet still fear his natural talent. I'm surprised he isn't referenced more, considering how hard he pushed Takamura in their fight.

Bryan Hawk is a perfectly written antagonist that makes you hate him with all your guts but still recognise him as a major threat to the MC. This video was well made

Bro forget to mention that his entire fighting style revolves around a TAUNTING position with zero guard (hence the name "pure violence")

Without a fucking doubt this guy has the best potential and talent than anybody throughout the whole series….. He has the body of a greek god when he doesn’t even train and was able to fuck up takamura WITHOUT EVEN TRAINING…. If he honed more and train his crazy fighting style this guy would no dif anybody throughoht the whole series

ngl I think Bryan Hawk could've beat Takamura but I think he was playing around way too much he let the best get to him

Some key reasons hawk lost was because takumaura remebered how he slapped his coach because he got mad at hawk because hawk sneaked a uppercut in when they were doing their poses for the upcoming fight also hawk tried to do multiple sway bscks that caused him to get knocked down by a single jab because he was allready off balanced swaying back like that when takumaura gets mad he will put you in the hospital with fractured bones the biggest mistake hawk maded was getting back up when takumaura rembered when hawk slapped his coach

Takamura didn’t beat no damn brown bear. He beat a moon bear the Asian black bear which you can tell by the big ass white crescent on its chest. It’s still a feat but it isn’t no damn grizzly 🤣
