Alina Alive, I adore you. I really learned a lot from you! I am starting a community garden at work and I'll be honest, I didn't exactly know all of the reasons why it was so beneficial. But you communicate so well with a lot of poise, passion, and intelligence. I will definitely be showing your videos to more people, especially my young girls. Thank you for being you, and do not stop talking about things you love.

I like the way you think ! There is a vacant land right next door to where I work and I was talking to my boss and asked who owns the land ? He looked at me and said why do you ask and than I said I would like to turn it to a community garden ! He said that would be great to have ,now we just need to figure out how to get started, 😂

You are so right, when l start gardening, people start talking to me! Also I start talking more with them, because I am outside more often!

Hi there, I like you! My friends and I have been working on putting together a food forest in our town. We currently have 3 community gardens as well!

+annie oakley That is so awesome! I'm sorry for such a laaaate reply. A food forest sounds amazing, you're sending so many positive ripple effects to your community and the people involved. What made you want to start one?

That's quite all right, I'm glad you were able to read my comment. We want to start one because our state, PA, is heavily forest and farming - so we are mostly country kids with a desire to grow our own - support ourselves, and reject GMO products. We have a farmers market on Saturdays - but not much in the winter season. We are trying to get more people interested and involved in something that will help the planet and the community - that can eventually sustain itself. So far we have a lot of people interested in helping, but acquiring the land has put us on a halt. Where we have land opportunities, it is unfortunately old railroad property, so it's bad soil. We are still brain storming though!

This is an amazing video because you are a fabulous communicator and your message is powerful and succinct. I've belonged to a community garden here in Montreal, Quebec for 3 years and still I learned from your presentation. Other important info that I'd stopped thinking about got reinforced by what you said and I'm grateful for that too. So Alina, keep it up. Keep sharing your gifts!
