The Power of Food in Controlling Parkinson's Tremors and Slowing Disease Progression - Steve Blake
Steve Blake discusses the profound impact of dietary choices on Parkinson's disease. He delves into how food can interfere with the transport of essential compounds like tyrosine and levodopa, thus affecting dopamine production. Highlighting the potential of food in increasing dopamine levels, he offers hope for potentially reducing Parkinson's symptoms. Blake underscores the importance of understanding the role of neurotoxins in food and the need to avoid them. Additionally, he emphasizes the essentiality of dietary antioxidants and how they can help manage the disease. The session provides insights into how everyone, not just Parkinson's patients, can reduce their risk of the disease through dietary choices. #ParkinsonsDisease #DietaryImpact #Neurotoxins

Sunshine, lots of natural vitamin D, calcium levels correct, actually smoking and drinking coffee inhibit it. My Mom took all kinds of vitamins but led a sedentary lifestyle after work very difficult jobs. Her calcium levels were very low despite taking a calcium supplement. Cigarettes have nicotinic acid. A good brewed coffee like Starbucks from their store helps. (Coffee purists please don’t start). Unfortunately, just about everybody will get Parkinson’s if they live long enough. The brain surgery is for younger people, not elderly.

The reason it’s not talked about is because there are infinitely many types of proteins. Have to define which specific protein you are talking about before it’s possible to measure whether there’s the right amount.
