I think of you as an uprising RU-vidr who wants to help new lifters with their journey. There is so much idiotic selfconflicting advice out there. Athlean X is just one example… that started out well and turned into mere bs. And of course to this day there is some truth in every single post of Jeff. It’s the combination that turns the whole thing into a lie. So you suggest to do a set of front raises between two sets of squats? What? You should reconsider your strategy. Who do you actually want to help with your videos? Those who want hypertrophy? Those who want to get fit? Those who have no time? If your answer is yes to all, you will end up like Athlean X, but without the likes and the money. There is almost now way, for whatever goal, doing anything between productive sets of squats. And you know it better. I still think of you as an inspiring coach that can help masses of people. I found your video against motivation, very motivating and a class act! If you can focus yourself on progressiv overload of what helpful advice you can and should provide. You could be a class act continuously.
Thank you for the kind words but you can absolutely do lateral raises between sets of squats, it will take ZERO away from your squat performance and allow you to get more shoulder volume in. You can train upper body muscles on lower days and vice versa, people seem to lose their minds when I say this but training isn’t rigid, you’re allowed to think outside the box. I’ve you’ve never heard of giant sets in this fashion then I highly suggest looking more into different peoples training styles, many ways to skin a cat.
