Listen to Dr. Jerry Savelle touch on the aspect of being positive and standing in faith regardless of what your current circumstances depict. It is in the believer's interest to stand on God's word rather than man's knowledge. This word is timely and will certainly encourage you.

Looks like they wisely yanked the comment, which claimed to be from Jerry Savelle, and that he had been given a vision and saw that harm was being plotted against the commenter, and asking for funds to be send to an account. Jerry Savelle, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Bill Winston, Keith Moore and others like them do not read the comments from all their social media platforms, they are too busy reading the Word of God. They do not go through comments and respond to people, they are far too busy doing the work of God and spending time with their families to do such comparatively trivial things. The only place one should ever give to them is on their own websites, and make sure they’re really their websites. And every one of them will tell you to listen to God yourself first, and if you’re going to give money to anyone, give it to where He tells you to give it. Always be careful, people (and most people are). The account was a fake account. Just because they’re using someone’s name and picture, it doesn’t mean it’s them. Naturally they all have had to combat fake accounts and websites, and people who misrepresent them, people who have no association with them at all.

For the last 20 years or even the last 10 years. I've tried but the church people are always too busy doing their own thing to care about legally blind woman who's been legally blind for almost 40 years. Church people just walk past you like you're part of the furniture.

It’s true, many do that. Some do it because they’re self-absorbed, and remember that they may already have committed to helping others and there are only so many hours in a day, so it’s unfair to judge their attitude, but also others don’t want to intrude. We have to make our needs known, often repeatedly, and yes, it can take time to find the sincere ones, and someone well-matched to be a good helper, someone with the time and skill set to be helpful to us, and us to them. Mustn’t forget that part. Be helpful as well. Things might turn around faster if you try to think of ways you can help somebody, too. Come up with a list of ways you are able to help others, what you can do, and focus less on what you cannot do. Encourage others yourself, and it may just work both ways. Be the change you want to see and have in the world. It helps to ask God to send the people He’d like to see in your life, and tell Him you mean immediately, AND for Him to open your eyes of understanding-immediately, and to help make yourself aware and to be able to “see“ and acknowledge them. Sometimes what we need is right in front of us, and we are not acknowledging it, either. And many people are getting a form of mentoring from these types of videos, because most people go through life without a mentor, and because they didn’t turn to God, they were and are lost, and didn’t know He has sent a mentor, and we can ask Him for human helpers, too, and give Him a timeframe, too. He is the great choreographer and can arrange anything. Remember that Jesus said he would send the comforter and the teacher, so the Holy Spirit is our mentor here. If anyone gets treated like a piece of furniture, it would certainly be him, even among self-proclaimed Christians. It might be helpful to make a point of developing a close relationship with the Holy Spirit, acknowledge him, too. Just think how he feels, standing there, being ignored. He is waiting to be of service, but he can’t do anything if you won’t acknowledge him, talk to him, and most importantly, listen to him, and do what he says.

The Power of Positive Thinking first came to light from an Episcopal Methodist preacher named Norman Vincent Peale. He wrote and preached on this subject just around World War 2. Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelle, ect. have all continued in this False Doctrine. This is taken from an article I have read from The True Christian Faith by David Challies. On his website he says the following, He wrote a book by the same title This book is written to suggest techniques and to give examples which demonstrate that you do not need to be defeated by anything, that you can have peace of mind, improved health, and a never-ceasing flow of energy. In short, that your life can be fully of joy and satisfaction.Norman Vincent Peale popularized what came to be known as positive thinking. He took existing ideas from Christian Science (which is neither Christian nor science but pagan Hindu doctrines) and other inspirations, gave them a biblical veneer, integrated them with psychology, and packaged them for the masses, spreading his message through The Power of Positive Thinking and his other works. His foremost contribution to the world was this notion that thoughts are causative, that our thoughts can change our lives, our health, our destiny. Readers were thrilled with this notion that if they believed it, they could have it, or be it, or do it. Peale believed we live in a world that is mental more than physical and this allows our thoughts to be determinative. If this is the case, all that stands between us and our desires is properly controlling our thoughts. In one of his books he taught the importance of a form of mental activity called imaging. It consists of vividly picturing, in your conscious mind, a desired goal or objective, and holding that image until it sinks into your unconscious mind, where it releases great, untapped energies. It works best when it is combined with a strong religious faith, backed by prayer, and the seemingly illogical technique of giving thanks for benefits before they are received. When the imaging concept is applied steadily and systematically, it solves problems, strengthens personalities, improves health, and greatly enhances the chances for success in any kind of endeavor. (Positive Imaging) None of this would be remarkable, except that he taught it as a minister who claimed to be a Christian. Many Christians critiqued Peale, including Episcopalian theologian John Krumm who saw that Peale had reduced God to a force and made Christianity self-centered rather than God-centered. “Very little is said about the sovereign mind and purpose of God; much is made of the things men can say to themselves and can do to bring about their ambitions and purposes.” Surprisingly, some Christians continued to embrace him. In 1966 Billy Graham said, “I don’t know of anyone who had done more for the kingdom of God than Norman and Ruth Peale or have meant any more in my life for the encouragement they have given me.” The Bible makes it clear that the troubles we experience in this life are not merely the result of negative thinking that can be overcome by tapping into our potential through positive thinking. They are the result of a deep-seated rebellion against God that involves not only the mind, but the will. We simply cannot overcome the evils of this world, or even the evil in our hearts, in our own strength. Apart from Christ we can do nothing (John 15:5). Apart from being born again, we are eternally dead in our trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1).Where Peale taught that our deepest problem is a lack of belief in ourselves and that our salvation comes with a simple shift in thinking, the Bible teaches that no man can save himself, regardless of how positive his thoughts may be. His salvation must come from outside himself. The glory of Jesus Christ is in the fact that he “has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death” sinners “who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds” (Colossians 1:21-22). Tragically, by his life and legacy, Peale showed that he rejected this Savior and chose to trust in his own strength.”Yes, we must change our attitude; the Bible says we can only do it correctly AFTER our sins are forgiven and we have had a successful spiritual surgery in our hearts. These are possible only with the Lord Jesus Christ. If you do not think there is anything wrong with Positive Thinking Doctrines then please click on this following link for further conformation that this is a doctrine of demons. churchwatchcentral.com/2016/12/10/yonggi-cho-calling-a-demon-the-holy-spirit/ Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Galatians 6:1

This is not a false doctrine, and it is not Norman Vincent Peale’s stuff. You obviously haven’t listened enough to them, because they don’t promise a bed of roses without any thorns. You’re free to think negatively and see how that works. The Bible says you shall have what you say, and what you say the most is what you’ll get. God does say that we will go through rough times, but He also gives us a whole entire book on what to do about it, and He certainly doesn’t expect us to suffer with it without taking action and putting the tools He gave us to use. It’s a Satanic lie to say we should. It doesn’t glorify Him to have His children be stupid idiots and not use the tools He put in their hands. Suffering just to suffer is stupidity. Suffering temporarily only when necessary while you put God’s word into action, that’s what He expects from us. And just because there were times when the disciples suffered, people might want to consider the fact that sometimes it was because they didn’t use the tools in the toolbox. Sometimes it was within their power to do something different and they just either didn’t realize it or didn’t do it for whatever reason. None of these men, Kenneth, Jesse and e others teach that it’s your own strength, they completely teach the opposite. They teach you can’t do anything on your own strength, which is true. They teach that you have to consult God on everything. They teach that God himself says you shall have what you say, which is written all through the Bible, and what goes into your eyes and ears comes out of your mouth, and what comes out of your mouth comes into your life. Record yourself for a few days and listen to the way you speak. It’s pretty eye-opening for people. And negative mental attitude absolutely brings negativity into your life. And turn off the TV people, stop voluntarily lining up to have the world puke all over you, and infest you with fear and despair. Get in the Bible and find out what it’s telling you to proclaim otherwise. God gave us the power over darkness by way of Jesus Christ, and anyone that is using their tongue to proclaim otherwise would be better off without one at all. They will be accountable for every word out of their mouth, and the Bible is clear that your mouth is the point of creation so you better watch what you say. Your own negative remarks are going to bring negatively not into your own life, but into everyone else’s as well. And you will be held accountable for that. People are repelled by negative people, everything good is repelled by negative people. You are taking one tiny aspect of what they teach and implying that that is the only aspect they teach, which is erroneous. That’s like people that take one verse out of the Bible and make their entire doctrine out of it, without reading the rest. Just like Christians that say drinking is wrong. Either Jesus is a sinner who tempts others to sin, or he isn’t and he doesn’t. He isn’t, and he doesn’t. His first miracle was making roughly 150 gallons of wine in ritual washing vessels, (six vessels, 20-30 gallons each), which will let you know what God thinks of man-made ritual washing vessels. He made it for a wedding party that it already been drinking so much, they ran out of wine. Just because people aren’t comfortable with everything Jesus did, because they’ve made up their own rules of what is right and wrong, doesn’t make them right. The Bible DOES say not to make a regular habit of being absolutely drunk, but when it says to “be sober and vigilant”, it’s talking about being serious and vigilant, because Satan stalks you like a lion. He also comes as an angel of light, and a lot of people fall for spiritual-feeling visions when they did not test the spirits. Satan is a predator,and you are his prey, so don’t be cavalier about it. It doesn’t mean “don’t be drunk”, unless you’re so drunk you can’t take it seriously that Satan will stalk you. Other parts of the Bible that tell you not to be a drunkard or just that don’t be a drunkard. There’s a difference between someone who has a glass of wine, or a glass of whiskey, and a drunkard. It’s just a sinful to make up doctrine which is what the Pharisees were doing. Adding burdens that God never put on people. That’s a sin, too. That’s killing their peace and their joy. The Bible also says that God made the vineyards to make wine to make the heart glad. God blessed His people with vineyards, and vineyards were not there to make “grape juice” and grapes for eating, they were there to make masses of wine. It also mentions using a stronger drink, even recommending it for specific situations. People want to take drinking alcohol to an all-or-nothing doctrine, and they are just wrong. That’s man-made doctrine, and it’s not in the Bible. And Kenneth and Jesse take that stance and they are wrong. They are absolutely right on most things, but on not drinking, they are wrong. They are calling Jesus a sinner, whether they mean to or not. It is not wrong to drink wine, because Jesus drank wine, he made wine, and he served wine. He even mentions when he will drink wine next, but he did not instruct his disciples to hold off drinking wine until he did. He simply wasn’t going to be around to drink wine, that’s all. And no, it wasn’t plain “grape juice”. What a load of hooey when people say that. And, on the day of Pentecost, when the people thought that they were all drunk (which let you know that you might have outward signs when you are filled with the Holy Spirit), Peter does not stand up and proclaim that they are not drunk because they do not drink, he tells them they are not drunk **because it is too early in the day to be drinking**. It’s quite clear that they drank, they just didn’t rise up and drink at 9 AM. The Bible says not to rise up in the morning to drink all day and go to bed with a bottle in your hand. The Bible never ever ever ever ever ever says not to drink at all. Every Christian that says that it’s wrong to drink is calling Jesus Christ a sinner. Jesus Christ was not an abstainer, and whatever is good enough for Jesus Christ is good enough for me. Not only did he make wine, he used their silly washing vessels when he could have chosen anything, he made the very best, and he made a whole lot of it, too. That’s because when God blesses us, he doesn’t skimp. He isn’t a slumlord, He isn’t cheap, He doesn’t do things halfway. He IS the God of abundance, AND prosperity, whether people like it or not. God doesn’t bless you with a cardboard box to live in, He blesses you with a house. It’s an insult to God to expect Him to give you little crappy things. And for those that have an issue with prosperity, then they are saying that God would like money and prosperity and success to be in the hands of the servants of Satan, because it’s either in the hands of those who serve Satan, or those who serve God, there is no in-between. The poverty gospel is just more man-made doctrine that is straight out of hell. The entire Bible calls poverty a curse. Kenneth and Jesse take that no-drinking stance about alcohol, they’re abstainers, and on that point, they are indeed wrong. What IS in the Bible is to not be a drunkard, to not get so drunk that you weaken yourself to sin, or to make yourself so drunk you’re lazy, nowhere does it say never to drink at all. That’s religiosity, and it’s what repels the world, because the world sees the hypocrisy and blindness of the very people who claim to know what the Bible says. God and Jesus Christ hate religiosity as well, read the 4 Gospels if you don’t know that.

Jesus also made his own scourge by hand, AND USED IT to DRIVE the corrupt people from the temple. He sat for an entire day and silently watched all the ungodly activity in his Father’s house. He didn’t just “grab some piece of rope lying around” and go after people, like many preachers preach. They are dead wrong, and they need to read it again. Jesus watched them for a day, and said nothing. He went away, and you know that means that he discussed it with God and ask God what he wanted him to do about it. Then he made the scourge by hand. A scourge has a handle and many cords, and bits of broken glass, metal, or bone as barbs designed to tear flesh tied to the end of each cord. Later, the Romans would be using the exact same weapon on him, but only if the demand of the Jewish authorities, they did not plot to do it themselves, as again preachers falsely teach. It was only at the constant nagging of the Jews that they relented. Likewise it’s the reason why Pilate put Jesus’s true title on the cross above him in three languages. It was a crossroads and he wanted ***everyone*** to know that he believed he really was who and what he said he was, because he refused to reduce the sign to say that it was merely a claim, and the Jewish authorities demanded but didn’t get. Pilate washed his hands of the curse, another public declaration that he believed Jesus. Preachers often teach that he wrote the sign to mock him, but he refused to mock Jesus. They need to read more closely. He tried six times to let Jesus go, and Jesus refused. The Jews may want to rethink their stance by refusing him even to this day as their Messiah. It’s a 2,000-year-old temper tantrum that they still haven’t apologized for. So, God can’t forgive them yet. Anytime...tick-tock... God says those who follow after Him will be blessed and protected and live in abundance and prosperity and health. He also says that those who don’t follow after what He says will get the opposite. They will have no peace. They can’t exactly say they’ve been blessed ever since they demanded that the curse for killing the Son of God be put on their own heads and those of their children. Pilate refused the curse, they demanded it. The curse is still on them because as of people they have not apologized. Messianic Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah, but the others have not, and they will not, and they insist that he is not who he says he is. They say and teach horrible things about him. They have been demanding another Messiah from God this entire time. They expected one that would let them take over the world and dominate everyone and they are still throwing a little hissy fit to this day. They didn’t understand that God never promised them that, and they are not the master race they think they are, that’s not what He meant by “chosen ones”, but just read what they have to say, and you’ll know that they think it is. They haven’t even recognized His chastisement of their false beliefs. Just have a peek at their history for what happens to people who go against God and refuse to apologize. They requested the curse on the day of Crucifixion, and they’ve still got it. If they were blessed, they wouldn’t be taking tax dollars from the American taxpayers every single day. But they do. They would have peace, but they don’t. They may arrange a false peace by buying people off, but that’s the best they’ll ever get until they apologize, and it otherwise wouldn’t last. So Jesus made his scourge by hand, and he came back the next day and put it to use. Keep in mind he only does what his Father says to do,and he only says what his Father says to say. He didn’t just grab some piece of rope lying around and go after people. He went away, gave it some thought, talked to God about it (how do we know? Because he said he always did), gathered the necessary materials, and made it by hand. People don’t like to think of Jesus using such a vicious weapon, but he did. People seem to want a weak and timid Jesus, someone who doesn’t drink, someone who would never lay a finger on anyone, but they are people who only read a little bit of the Bible, and skip over the uncomfy parts. And God does expect you to have a positive mindset **because you have faith in Him**. And that IS what Jerry, Jesse and both Kenneths and the others have taught.

Your father was a great example to you. But how does a person who's had a really poor abusive neglected upbringing and no relatives of any sort to help them mature and grow and nurture them oh, how is that person supposed to be able to function and see God as this all-powerful generous faithful God who is Father? Just as you associate your good natural father with a good God, a person who only sees neglect all around them and experienced nothing but abuse let down after let down and loneliness how does that person magically see God is this awesome God.?
@misskim2058
@misskim2058 3 года назад
It’s not so hard. God is the Father you always wished you had. Many of us had abusive and neglectful households, and had to create their own world from looking around for what they’d rather experience, learning from anything they could get their hands on, books, radio shows, anything. They set in their minds and hearts that they would NOT let their negative environments shape and mold them into something they didn’t want to be. With every negative act of others around them, they would not absorb it as a part of themselves, but would reject it, and replace it mentally with what they’d be otherwise. They created a different world and knew one day they could live in it full time. It’s all in the Bible, but the world doesn’t see it, so many of us missed out on knowing about it and knowing we had the help all along. It was waiting for us to notice, too. It invites us to toss it all out and replace that foundation with what God offers. He won’t pull the rug out like the world does, but when he started shifting and changing things in your world, he’s going to have to knock down your shanty town so he can build your mansion. that means that when you put your trust in him, if it looks like things are changing for the negative, it’s because he’s removing what doesn’t belong, and making room for what does. Your job is to be excited that God the Father is capable, and glad you’ve finally trusted him to yank you out of oncoming traffic, set your feet where they belong, and provide for you. But the second you think that you should control it, and you start to tamper with it, not only is that the sin of pride, but you’ve also yanked it right back out of His hands like a little brat does, and He can’t fix it for you if you’re holding onto it. The Bible says to cast allllll your cares into Him. All. Take your broken toys and your broken life and put it ALL in His lap and let Him fix it all. And since He’s choreographing things, they will be fixed in their proper time. It’s OK to tell Him you’d like it “the sooner the better”, as long as it’s still within what He thinks is best. When you glue a toy back together, you have to wait for the glue to dry before you can play with it again. Impatient little children wI’ll whine they want it now, when it will just break again if they don’t wait. God knows exactly when things need to occur. So we tell them we’d like it fixed right away, and things will happen as they will be best in the short and long run. We are the two-year-olds, God is the grown-up, and we have to trust Him, and stop making messes for Him to fix. Everything goes faster if we stop getting in His way. Don’t insult God by comparing Him to the humans you have known.
