When a man engages in regular silence, his opinion and voice are usually more eagerly sought after. Not only do you get the benefit of fruit self evaluation, but you also get to share your learning when it's requested.
It also teaches one to only engage when necessary. When we do engage, we strike with purpose and conviction. "With the intent to cut" as Miyamoto-sama would have said.
There are many "proverbs" that state this, but I don't believe it is true. I am not trying to hate on your comment but the older I get, the less I believe it.
Well, since the non-toxic version of the sigma male corresponds to the shaman archetype, that's not really true. They have been around as long as people have.
Thank you for the inspiring thoughts, a little correction the bushido code did not exist at the time of Musashi Sensei, it was more recent, at the time of Miyamoto Musashi Sensei the most prominent samurai values were loyalty to one's lord ,courage in battle (acceptance of death) . what became later the bushido code is a mesh between warrior ethos and Buddhist and Shinto values. Warrior code was highly individualized back then with a few common guidelines, his personal philosophy, as outlined in the book of earth as this set of instructions handed down to his adopted son Miyamoto Lori and all kenshi that study Niten Ichi Ryu later on : 1. Do not stray away from the way of the warrior. 2. Be useful to your Lord. 3. Devote yourself to your clan. 4. Remove suffering whenever you can.
This is the first step on the Kemetic teachings. The female goddess Meskhet, goddess of change, the male counterpart had to experience in order to connect to the spiritual 👍⚡🕉️💞 the pattern is everywhere ♾️🔱🥰
Swordmanship in Japan was like kungfu in China. Everybody try to be master in swordmanship and set up swordfighting schools. Musashi show Japan how useless the power of the sword when he defeated Kojiro with a wooden oar. After that this led to the popularity of swordfighting schools and to the advancement of science and technology!! What's the use of all the skills of sword play when a single bullet does it better!??
I’m going to disagree here. When I see a guy who’s too quiet, it seems like an affectation. And what I get from his demeanor is that deep down he is afraid. In my book, the simplest way to disarm a guy like this is to have fast wit and humor that he can’t keep up with. I love to run circles around these kind of guys. I’m not intimidated in the least.
are you sure you're not trying to attack them because you want to know what they're like cause you want to know what they're capable of? I'd say it's the fear of the unknown.
@@g.dumpty No. Silence equals fear. You can smell it on those types. Life is short. Have some wine. Make some jokes. Laugh. Be merry. No time for dullards pretending to be deeper than they are.
@houdinididiit fear of what exactly? Lmao. You see how you just made an assumption? You are projecting pretty badly. Understand yourself, my guy. And you're right. Life is to too short, that doesn't mean you be stupid too.
