We have a lot of valley oak trees and grape vines in Tulare County. We should consider having our own cork industry.

The best handmade boots and dress shoes have cork insoles. Cork is also a fantastic material for floatation as it absolutely will not sink.

Quercus suber (cork oak) grows throughout southwestern Europe and into northwestern Africa in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. It is also grown from California to Texas so it needs a relatively dry climate in order to thrive.

The Salk Institute in San Diego is investigating how to split cork genes into food seeds to make our ordinary farms into gigantic CO2 absorbers with US farmers using just 5% of their planting area with their seeds. They believe cork infused seeds will address much of the CO2 problem.

Why do you think South Ireland is called Cork, and why do you think ancient Atlantis was pinpointed by tech and historian scholars to be the island of Ireland? Yes, Ireland was Atlantis, and Cork itself was the system that was passed down to Portugal during various epochs, please study this video, and preserve which humanity needs, Cork.
