The Powerful Placebo Effect in Modern Medicine 

That's the trippiest part. Human brain is nuts. Think I saw it as a TED talk or podcast. Advocating placebo as an area of medicine. Was super intriguing. Glad it is spreading.

Belief is more powerful than most give credit for.

Does anyone have a reference for this study?

Maybe sugar pills are just really good medicinally

Actually it can give our immune system à psychologically induced boost so to some extent it does affect the cause

our thoughts and vibrations create our reality, therefore it can cure cancer and other diseases, look up Law of Attraction or The Secret

@@illunis8273 One healing I had once was with a cyst the size of a golf ball in between the cavity of my knee. It was as hard as cartilage and within an hour I seen it disappear before my eyes. I learned to do that from Pentecostal churches. Though I don't believe in it at the moment It is a very real and powerful phenomenon at times. The most i have ever seen. I had healings as well as many other people. To this day i still struggle with trying to understand it because there was a lot of INTUITION and what really appears to be some real kind of connection with what ever you call it (spirit). He or they are very forgiving but according to the church very demanding too. I even feel like i am stabbing that spirit in the back for denying it and trust me i am as skeptic and scientific as one can be. It is all about personal experiences. No one can entirely change your mind or my mind if they didn't have the same experiences as us. That is why I don't entirely ridicule Christians because even though there may be many errors in their bible and their scriptures it is so confusing esp for simple minded people. Some of them are a lot smarter than you think. They see it as being something you can't explain. Like magic.

Does this make it less useful? People suffer for symptoms. Placebo can't shrink a tumor, yet can reduce the suffering related to cancer.
