I thought of going to Krishna temple tomorrow and asked my son to come with me ! He said that - amma tomorrow is Ganesh chathurthi na we should go to Ganesh temple ! Why we should go to Vishnu temple tomorrow? , I can happily answer him now ! Thank you so much for this beautiful rendition of such powerful connections with such puraana stories …. Radhe Radhe. Just wanted to know why durva is offerrd to ganesha and tulsi to Vishnu. And if both have connection than why tulsi is not offered to ganesha.

In Maharashtra, we say ganesha’s birthday on Ganesh Jayanti on chaturthi of shukla paksha in magha maas (around jan-feb). In bhadrapada chaturthi, ganesh festival celebration started by balgangadhar tilak. Can you please enlighten on this difference I found in many places???

My question is refers to 4:24 - how does one know that the number 4 represents the 4 directions and then the successive connections? Why not something else? How are we sure these connections aren't just 'made up' (using this phrase carefully here to bring out a concrete proof for the claim of said connections)?
