Fun fact...the writers origionally wamted to have a happy ending for rainbow. But CN forced th to re-write it to where he got tf beat out of him anyway.
He went out of his way to start an artificial Great Depression and actively went out of his way to spread misery instead of trying to undo his condition.
Yeah it almost seems like the mime is a separate personality in him. His personality didn't exactly say "I am angry that I lost my colour so noone else can enjoy colour" his expression more said "finally im free from the clown and can take all colour". Also when he gets recoloured he is genuinely overjoyed and begins singing once again supporting my thought of a suppressed dark side or personality. Kind of like Bruce banner and the hulk or Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
I agree, even if the girls didn't know about the clown's brainwashing, it was unfair, at least you could say that they realized it was a mistake, since in a later episode he is seen being at the birthday party of the girls.
But at least we could say that the girls realized that it was a misunderstanding, since Rainbow the clown returns in the later episode when it's the girls' birthday.

When I watch the whole Episode when I noticed The Clown didn’t deserve to get Beat Up And Send to Prison he brainwashed from those Actions he committed! 😭😭
I always felt bad for the characters that get beaten at the end, they never really did much wrong if you think about it, each has done 'evil' for a reason. Sometimes they're not even responsible for what happened like the clown in this episode.
Fun fact the OG ending was supposed to end with the clown joining the girls but the executives thought that the clown should be punished and that’s why the girls beat him up and locked him up
This is the first episode that comes to mind when remembering or hearing about the PPG because the poor clown gets beat up at the end and because of how horrifying that kid or mom at the beginning looks!
I actually have a bathing towel from my childhood based on this PPG episode. I did not realize that until I watch it in much later reruns. It is still is use today frankly
Yeah, I remember I saw Episode along time ago but I felt bad for the guy who got his ass kicked by the Powerpuff Girls. But that wasn’t his fault honestly, like the bleach turn them evil and the girls day redeemed him by turning him back into a clown. What does he get in? Return his ass getting kicked & getting locked up away.
I didn't like that they beat him up at the end, his only crime was stealing the color and some what making people in mobile but he didnt harm anyone intentionally. So really made no sense for them to beat him up especially when he was happy that they gave him his color back.
It doesn't make sense for the clown, though. I mean, the bleach was the most responsible for most of those things. It's as if he's not doing of his own will, though. Maybe it's because some of the staffs hated clowns like Pennywise or Jangles from Inside Out. I wondering that when I was a child. I kinda outraged in this episode at the end.
Powerpuff Girls beat the mime of the rainbow clowns ass and Bubbles say is the sing sing is the place for him and the clown gose to jail and never go around people in townsville again.
