I understand he pulls the towels in the cage. Much more comfortable to sleep on than those hard thin metal bars. He wants to have a cosy bed, like we humans like also.

It’s so unfair to Dumpling. He is lazily resting, not bothering anyone or anything and here are 2 rather chubby prairie dogs disrupting the entire place. Little Mr. Thief is outrageous and dangerously adorable.

Dumpling understands the prairie dogs have to sleep on a cage that is much less comfortable this his little bunker, hence Dumpling's demeanor of seemingly nonchalance.

Он слишком толстый - это вредно. Ему не дали уйти в спячку и у него нарушился природный жизненный цикл. Когда они уходят в спячку они сильно теряют в весе и это нормально.
