This Tibetan freedom prayer was composed by the Dalai Lama himself just when he was a little child My channel is dedicated to anthems, hymns and patriotic songs, here is the link to our discord server: / discord
This song was originally a formal Buddhist prayer written entirely by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in the Autumn of 1960, a year and a half after he was forced into exile in India. The text centers around the power of truth and the ideal of karma, specifically that the righteous and the innocent will always prevail in the end. It also centers around the power of compassion, especially compassion for both the oppressed as well as the oppressor. As the prayer made its rounds across the Tibetan public, it gained the musical notes, tones, and pacing from average Tibetan devotees. Ever since, it's easily been one of the most beloved and most common of all prayers recited by Tibetan Buddhists. Every March 10th, the anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan Uprising is observed by Tibetans everywhere, and this song is a core part of that observance. Colloquially it is mostly referred to as the "Tseme Yönten", but the official name for it is the "Dhentsig Mönlam" (English: "The Prayer of the Words of Truth").
It's a real shame that the Dalai-Lama cannot visit Russia due to political reasons, most Russian Buddhists are Lamaists and he *is* an important figure for them
As well as Mongolia, since Mongolia shares borders with only Russia and China. The Dalai Lama got his title of Dalai Lama from a Mongolian warlord he gave teachings to and converted to Buddhism. Since then, a majority of Mongols everywhere have identified as Vajrayana Buddhist.
Today is the 62nd anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan uprising, so well done Ingen. 🙂 I know that because townhall in my reginal capital raises Tibetan flag every March 10th to comemorate the uprising.
As an Indian I am heartstick to see my brothers and sisters of Tibet who had done nothing to be butchered in the imperial rule of Beijing. They deserve their land back. Glory to Tibet, long live. 🇮🇳🤝 Tibet
You do know even before PRC the the Qinghai territory was under control of the Xibei San Ma warlords of the Ma Clique family which divided 3 provinces of Gansu,Qinghai and Shanyang between Ma Bufang,Ma Chenzi and Ma Zhuang
Tibet, a beautiful plateau which embraces Buddhist culture to its extent is ironically getting persecuted by a country that has the most Buddhists. A peaceful society enveloping mountains shall become free, love from Hindustan, our dharmic brothers… 🇮🇳
Tibet itself may have fallen but in the aftermath the Tibetan sun shines over the whole world and one day the light will shine across the plateau again too. Until that day we carry Tibet in our hearts.
Tibet had Indo-tibetian culture as many words come from Sanskrit, we indians just lost a country with similar culture In Tibet by china in the 1950's:( we should save REAL Tibetan culture in India
@@za.monolit only some Indians are like that and I just said that a country that had a culture similar to us was conquered and I think we should save it
@@za.monolit but you cant deny that its true, indian culture shaped alsmot the asia and i wont say best but indian culture is better than many cultures
@@deusdobrasil3887 Sadly you’re correct, but our current minster is looking to gain independence. Unfortunately Scotland will become a socialist state if we get independence because the policies are revolting.
This prayer, Words of Truth, was composed by His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama of Tibet, on 29 September 1960 at his temporary headquarters in the Swarg Ashram at Dharamsala, Kangra District, Himachal State, India. This prayer for restoring peace, the Buddhist teachings, and the culture and self-determination of the Tibetan people in their homeland was written after repeated requests by Tibetan government officials along with the unanimous consensus of the monastic and lay communities.
India is backing up Tibet , and if anyone wanna see Buddhism or Dalai Lama , you guys should check out Bodh Gaya , it's in bihar state of india . Here Buddhism is alive and flourishing. Else Tibet will be a free nation just like Taiwan .
@@eireballyes Tibetan script is derived from Brahmi , Tibet is very close to India in terms of Culture, tradition, faith on other hand China is alien to Tibet civilisation.
Don't worry Mr. Chinese agent on my Chinese phone, I totally recognize the region of Tibet as a sole part of the People's Republic of China (pls help me he has me at gunpoint)
I'm a Nepali but my grandfather Came over to India to work. He was tricked by the "saardaars" (landlords in India) to come work there for great pay. All they got was near minimum wage. Now they brainwash us to feel patriotic for a nation that forced our grandfathers to work on former Nepali land at low wages. But still ID rather be a faithful Nepali. Sure the pros of living in India is more but I'd rather prefer my own homeland. My solidarities to Tibet. May the land of gold be free (land of gold is the term for Tibet by most Nepalis)
Idk why China claims tibet just because of Qing dynasty, tibet liberally uses indian dialect alike writing style rather than chinese Mandarin, i can literally spot "matras" and letters in there like hindi, sanskrit, bengali, nepali, punjabi etc. Also their culture is different and religion
@@krash4970 nah, I don't think so, I have seen similar comments, but , I guess he isn't one In that video if Kadam Kadam badhaye ja, one guy commented- "Allah is G*y" And Ingen rather gave a funny reply "inshallah"
