A sermon delivered by C.H. Spurgeon, March 1873
This sermon appeared in the Sword and Trowel; the periodical produced for the church by Spurgeon. It seems he was feeling unwell at the time. He used this text from 1 Peter text in his very first sermon, at the age of sixteen.
Here he tells us he is speaking from his heart and spiritual experience.
