Honestly as a both fighters' fan, Max is the real deal here. Holloway might be the hardest fight in the division for Topuria's style. If Max dictates the pace of the fight as he normally does, I can see him winning. But on the other hand Illia has good fight IQ and very good reads since round one. He is a counter attacker, he is fast, he has power and an excellent cardio. He is very patience as well. So I think Max is going to fight a similar fight as the ones he did against Volkanovski, where he didn't dictate the pace, he was counter attacked a lot and overwelmed by the reads of Volk. If Topuria fights calmly and strategicaly as he always do, he is going to win. The best always win so good luck to both of them.

That’s not how fighting works because fighting is a sport where anything can happen in any given moment. Skill technique, experience, and body proportions, stamina/endurance, ability to take punishment, calculate an opponent and conflicts of styles Along with age are all factors in a fight, especially at the top of the game amongst elite fighters but again anything can happen and styles conflict heavily. There was a time when rampage Jackson couldn’t beat Wanderlei but chuck Lidell could, but chuck simply couldn’t beat Rampage. Styles conflict. Also, there’s many fights where if they both fought 10 times there would probably be different winners throughout that 10 fight timeline (depending on how evenly match the opponents are in terms of skill).

Max is washed is one seriously strange comment to make after winning likely the best fight the UFC has had in ages in one of the biggest cards it had going. Then add the fact that the commentary was that he's never looked better in that fight one which most ppl thought he'd lose and that washed up comment makes zero sense.
