Both predators (2010) & predator (2018) are equally good as their first 2 parts. But, people keep complaining that it's not the best one like classic films. Classic is classic, it's been 3 decades now. No one can make movies like that, that's why it's called as classic. So, if someone is trying to make a good predator film, then it's our responsibility to support that film, not criticize it like critics do. Critics always ruins a movie by over criticizing it. So, don't go by critics. Watch and enjoy a film without expecting much. I liked this movie, especially the ending. But, because of foolish critics, i don't think we'll see another predator movie in future....

I may have misspoke here - totally agree that the first film is great, and a classic. Just think we’re due for another great one is all. And totally respect the other comments here about the other films - I really enjoy most of them as well. Honestly, I’m grateful anytime we get to see a Yautja on screen. :)

In all seriousness, I completely forgot this movie ever existed. I'm watching prey and I thought I'd go through and make sure I'd seen every predator movie. When I saw this title in the list, I kept asking myself the same question: "The Predator?" Over and over. I've seen the movie. Just completely wiped it from my consciousness. Edit: Thank you all for finding this relatable and the likes and comments. I've always wanted to be a Savage movie critic.

After the Me Too thing happened in Hollywood they seem to be done with male protagonists in action films and fully focused on pushing the female empowerment message by casting female action hero protagonists. T2 is a great action film, but in my opinion the first one was a better movie

I wonder why Shane Black messed up this movie so bad. He was in the original and he knows how to make other good movies. I figured he'd give more love to this one, yet it had too many unnecessary jokes, the characters made no sense, and the Predators seemed to stray away from what we know them as.

@@raptortamerdx5900 Black isn't at the same level he used to be back when he wrote stuff like Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout and The Long Kiss Goodnight. Iron Man 3 was crap and so was The Predator. Just wish they hadn't cut that whole sequence with the group and 2 Emissary Predators helping them while on an APC versus the completely reshot 3rd act as seen in the film. What a waste.

The original was perfect because it was a bunch of soldiers of fortune that was played by a great cast going to rescue politicians in Guatemala things go wrong and quickly find out they’re being hunted by something Arnold Schwarzenegger was amazing til the very end the reason I think the movie was so good was because these guys thought they were at the top of the chain and all of a sudden they’re being hunted

@Shawn Tabor and for the record, I actually enjoyed this movie, considering that Shane Black's resume gave us some of the most entertaining movies from the 80's and 90's. plus, I think that one of the reasons why this movie didn't fare so good at the box-office (besides the obvious studio interference), was that alot of people are still pissed off at Shane Black's handling of the Mandarin twist from "Iron Man 3". so with that said, I think if the seriousness and the horror/scare factor was ramped-up, and alot of the comedy was toned down, I think it would've fared a little better in the theaters.

If you guys read into the real lore (comics) it tells you what’s up. The bad bloods are stronger than the normal predators, but they lack honor (do not kill unarmed people/enemies, women or children are mostly off limits unless they are a true threat, do not kill a fellow hunter) and have been banned off planet. This isn’t a new concept.

i'm surprised they didn't have the chance to do a "Predator" prequel taking place in the 1700's, and show the audience how the Elder Predator (seen at the end of "Predator 2") got a hold of that flintlock pistol that says "Raphael Aidolini 1715". could've made for a good movie with the right people backing the project
