People like this find anyone to blame in order to try and justify their behavior. Their mother. Their father. Their childhood. Bullies. Ex partners. You name it. Mental health industry needs to stop enabling these people to make excuses for their behavior.
A lot of the time children antagonise animals sometimes deliberately. Its incredibly unfair to the poor animals that get angry and pay the price for an honesty reasonable reaction, kids are terrible people, I've heard a saying "all kids are sociopaths until they're taught not to be"
@@theentity5201 I work with kids - developmentally they are indeed essentially psychopathic and sociopathic until their brains begin to fully form and they are socialized by their external environments to discern what is 'socially acceptable' and what is not. Not to mention the survival instinct/tactic of their brains being myopically self-focused and narcissistic until later development.

It definitely happens but it's not as prevalent as most people think. Cho-mo's aren't all getting beat, murdered & or even treated badly. Most just do their time and get out to hurt others.
@Esclethcer trust me prison is torture, there’s very few people institutionalized enough to be OKAY with being in prison. Deep down nobody wants to be there.
It is SO prevalent that parents will not pay attention and brush off their children telling them they are being molested. When I told my mother that her husband, my stepfather, was constantly telling me he wants to f*** me, she replied: What would he see in you?? And she beat me up for it. Unforgivable.
Children are NEVER the same once they’ve been sexually violated. I chose not to have children. I couldn’t bear the thought of them being harmed the way I was at 5 years old. Fifty-three years later and my wounds are forever healing.

10 years then reduced??? Says A LOT about the judge I'd say. Dirty perverts everywhere. Disgusting. These people are animals and should be treated as such.
It says more about Canada’s judicial system than it does the judge. Either way, the punishment did not nearly fit the crime in this instance. The man should have been incarcerated for life.

I followed the story of Richard Huckle for many years being a former prison officer. I have to say the way you’ve put this together is brilliant. Also I love the song at the end, Always in Bloom. Well done 👍🏻
The signs of what is to come to me are obvious so to a trained and certified professional you would think it would be more so to them. I have always been aware of the predators in the world as I have been a victim of a few different types, but those who violate children and animals in my opinion are not able to be rehabilitated because if they are not able to empathize with their victims in the 1st place then they never will be able to for this is something that can not be taught to them. They might have the ability to fool others into thinking they have been rehabilitated but at what cost do we give them the opportunity to return to society. Just 1childs innocence lost is too high of a price to take that chance imo!
I already knew the story of Huckle, so all I can say is I think its a shame he could only die once. You don't mess with kids, and if you do there should be no mercy shown to you. None, none whatsoever. You should have to spend whatever time you have on this earth in abject misery and if there is an afterlife that misery should continue there.

Where is the compassion for these children??? Where is the justice??? One thing that shouldn't be overlooked in these cases is what law enforcement has to go through and witness in order to deal with these types of crimes. Each horrific act has to be documented in order for each charge to be filed. They have to view these horrendous images and videos looking for any kind of clue as to victim and/or perpetrator identity. In most of these departments around the world, there is a limited time you can serve in this type of unit because of the psychological toll it takes. As much as we keep the young victims in mind, please don't also forget those who work to catch the lowest of societal dregs.
I’m thankful for those able to do that. I hope that they are protected from the evil that they witness. These are the most horrendous things imaginable.
I personally could never be witness to that, without severe psychological damage, all the respect to the people involved in procecutions of this kind, Too hard to live with for many. 😪

How do I feel at the pause? I feel that someone in a max security prison did something to get there. How he died was horrible, but what did he do to others to get there? Edit: having watched the rest... yep. If anyone deserved that death, he did.
I've heard this case many times and I still say what happened to Huckle, couldn't have happened to a more deserving POS. Paul Fitzgerald finally did some good in his life....
Yes I imagine those watching this without any knowledge of Huckle would be horrified at first to find out how he died, but then once Huckle's past comes up....karma.
What is wrong with the law? How can they let these evil people out on the street again? I sometimes wonder if there are not way too many people making the decisions involved in these acts as well.
I commented above with a similar reaction. The next life this evil broken horrible person takes could be the life of one of THEIR loved ones…. Somebody needs to make the tough choices that need to be made in these situations…. REAL LIFE IN PRISON OR DEATH.

Sandra, sometimes Karma has a way of playing her hand. In this case, I have to agree with you. The only thing I disagree with is the judge allowing this man to leave jail in his lifetime.
@@jen-ms4xo Yes, the story was about a young man killing another young man in prison. The killer horribly tortured and killed a child molester, as he himself was molested as a child. He was found guilty but the sentence was lenient, in my opinion, allowing him to leave prision at some point in his lifetime. Watch the video… it’s horrible, I will warn you.
First….. listen to your children. I’m so heartbroken for that little girl. She told those that were there to protect her. She was betrayed by the people that mattered most to her. Innocent, defenseless and trusting. Her parents make me sick. LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN! Rule number one. Yes, children can lie, but it is rare when it’s about this and usually if they do it’s because they are being told to by someone using it to harm someone ie custody cases. People called me a hover mom. I was told I was too overwhelmingly protective of my children. They weren’t allowed outside of our yard. I very VERY rarely allowed anyone to watch my children, and if I did it was someone that I knew well, female and only for 1-2 hours with both boys together. Our boys are 5 years apart. Our eldest was 13 the first time I allowed him to stay over with a friend. I am still friends with the mother of that child 10 years later. I just would not have them around people I didn’t know or allow them to be out of my site or outside our yard. THIS is why. If someone hurt one of our boys my husband (their father) would have ended up in prison. He’s not the type to let anyone get away with something that harms his children or family. They are much older now, 22 and 17. I still have a hard time allowing our youngest to visit at someone’s home.
34 years?? Jesus, for everything this guy committed and openly admitted to enjoying?! Terrifying that someone like that would end up back in the streets again at any point EVER
I think he was already serving a long sentence so I’m guessing the 34 years would have been on top. Although if the 34 years stood by itself then yeah I agree! Still believe huckle deserved everything he got for being a disgusting monster. I’d say human being but he doesn’t deserve that title.
Commonwealth (UK, Canada, Australia) and Northern/Western European countries are the "too far in the other direction" example compared to US sentencing. I know here in the States sometimes we're a bit much, but watch some true crime about other countries and your jaw will hit the floor at the ridiculously short sentences given out.
I have two things to say: 1. This channel’s content is very well done. If you like True Crime, this is a great channel. 2. When the traditional Justice system fails society. Prison Justice can help minimize the effect of certain particular “injustices.” Enough said.
I smiled the entire time I as listened to what Huckle went through. Even clapped at the end. Child predators deserve far worse. Two wrongs don't make a right, but he would of had a smooth ride in prison and gotten out eventually. Our justice system is a joke.
He got jail house justice. Bad pedophiles like this get put on a hit list. Knowing his temper. Never should have been in a shared cell or checked on by a single guard
I was thinking it was 80 minutes well spent. I remember the Huckle arrest when it happened but I didn't know he was brutally murdered in prison. See some stories o have happy endings.
At this point in the story I’m nauseated by the evil in this guy! I don’t have words to express how I feel! This guy should have been in solitary confinement 😢 I’ll update my comment! Update: OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I’m serious at a loss for words!! The amount of evil in this world is beyond my comprehension!!! I agree with a comment below mine, a dog gets put down when it viciously attacked but men who ruins their victims for life get a slap on the hand. You can see the progression in these predators. Getting away with acts over and over. Even pedophiles have said that they most likely will go on to reoffend again! I can guarantee that Huckle is in torment right now and for eternity! Holding hands with Satan himself! I pray for every child in this world. I, myself, was molested by our pastors son when I was a little girl. I never told anyone until I was an adult. The man that did that to me was burned alive in a house fire. I struggled with alcohol for a long time. I finally got sober and took my life back with the help of the Lord. Forgiving him even after his death was for me! I’m very protective of my children and keep a very open line of communication with them! Since my incident evil has only grown greater. Be watchful of your kids. Listen to them! Don’t trust anyone! 😢
Bad thing is ... Sometimes Churches move suspicious folks or even preachers that have relationships with others out of the Church even with a reference letter to find another job to save face. They should be ashamed.
Religious organisations have a long standing history of enabling this kind of behaviour unfortunately. Sadly organisations that are ostensibly set up to help and nurture children also often attract those with dishonourable intentions.
Paul is a misfit with an indefinite sentence, he belongs where he is, to quote "prison staff they knew he was a loose cannon ready to go off." 90 minutes is a long time not to hear a screaming child molestor being tortured and killed in a cell. We won't know who suggested Huckle as a target, whether Paul was prompted and supported. To my mind jailhouse justice was served
High profile cases travel quickly. He definitely knew he wanted him or people like him as a target. Not to mention the fact that those who prey on the vulnerable and weak probably aren't all that strong themselves, Huckle was pretty scrawny too.
I decided to download this video and I watched it at work. I truly started to cry at the end of this video. It will never fail to baffle me why we don't punish 100% of child-related crimes to the fullest extent of the law. Not only that, but why are they protected while in prison? They should all be thrown into gen. pop. and let the other inmates serve their own special brand of justice!!!
I already knew about Huckle, even before he was murdered (and was glad when I heard about it), so I was not at all sad to hear the details of his fate, as it was appropriate punishment, IMO, for how many lives that S.O.B. deliberately destroyed.
When it comes to terrible acts against children, not only do I lose all empathy for those who commit them... in fact, I have a long list to send out as Fitzgerald's cellmates.
I didn't know anything about either of these 2. Being from U.S we don't always. At first I wondered, what caused the man to horrifically do that to another. After watching further and then reading some comments, I see why it happened. Being a survivor of childhood sa, I am glad it happened. No, I don't normally like that violence, however when it comes to children, elderly and animals, HANDS down without a doubt each offender should get that treatment. Not quickly, slowly over time.
How do I feel about him so far? It's making me think that having a special type of prison where inmates are actively tortured may be appropriate in some cases.
It’s not how we feel about this demon, but more how we feel about the judge/jury that sentenced him to the ability to get out in his lifetime, meaner, more evil, and more street smart so he can do it again. What were they thinking???
I agree. ANY crime against a defenseless, innocent child should be an automatic sentence of a LONG duration. Too often you see a slap on the wrist and release from prison, there definitely needs to be a system overhaul when it comes to sentences for any offenders who target children.
@@Dank_Engine I must agree. This video, as it played out, almost made you give kudos to the guy for murdering the child molester. What I saw was an evil young man who was molested as a child and “supposedly” turned into the evil he was that day, but, I was molested as a child and am not a murderer. I have to ask this question to anyone who would answer it: When an animal attacks a human, that animal is (in most cases) put down. He is put down for two reasons. #1 is because of what he did, and #2 is for what he has the propensity to do in the future. How do juries not see this? I understand that this is a human….but because he is human and has the ability to form a way of escape he should be dealt with as carefully as an animal. Either real lifetime in prison or death, in my opinion. You see, the next life he takes could be that of YOUR child, loved one, husband, wife, ect. Mitigating circumstances are important but as I said before, the next life he takes……..
To me no explanation is needed. Anyone that can do these type of things should automatically be executed. Why should we as taxpayers have to pay for a trial, it should be an automatic GUILTY sentence of death.

Any adult male who wants to hang out with or be around small children, all the time makes me question his motives, unless they are his family. Simply put it is NOT a normal!! Men are naturally protective not nurturers. Protect your children and always error on the side of caution who you leave your children with at school, church basically anywhere.

I think people need to be more aware of whom they are allowing into thier church or group or home, Huckle 's depravity thrived and carried on longer by others' lack of awareness or holding him accountable early on, and lack of supervision.
Our church had very strict guidelines for dealing with children and youth. Their up bringing may have played a role in who they became but it doesn't pardon what they did or will do again. Those who feel this is to harsh should take them into their own home and try to change them and pay to keep them alive.
Well put!! People this evil are narcissists, and they signed a contract with Satan even before their born, they agreed to do as much evil to as many good people as possible while been protected from the law by Satan for as long as the devil can, then the devil pulls the plug on them and exposses them and let's the law bring them in.😤😤😤🧐🧐👼👼👼
We need to recognize these people at the beginning of their lives. And they need to be put into solitary confinement for all their years in prison. In the olden days, this was called madness.
I literally feel like I am burning up alive inside because of all the anger this has caused me 😤 After thoughts; my soul is satisfied, justice was served.
I had such a hard time with this content. I feel like almost everyone I know was molested in childhood. Sickening. There is no justice for the adult children who endure this type of violation. One of my adult cousins molested my aunt’s daughter. I was her victim’s advocate (supported her in the judge’s quarters and on the stand while testifying). As a survivor myself (my abuser was my pediatrician grandfather/ yes you read that right), supporting her was an honor but also excruciating and infuriating. The abuser in this case got 5 years probation because he had not penetrated her (yet…he was grooming her for it). A minor slap on the wrist. I look him up regularly on Facebook and other places and have had to report him for working with kids at karate studios and such. I have no words. I wish these sickos would get therapy!!
I think there is a paedophile ring very high up and that explains WHY these cases are not harshly punished. You would have to be sick yourself to let cases like this get off so lightly.
