Hi Elevation Family and Pastor Steven! Writing from the Philippines 🇵🇭 I want to share how blessed I am with your sermon, how it moves me from my current situation, and how it comforts me yet pushes me out of my comfort zone. I am currently doing ✨social detox✨ wc I usually do from time to time, where I delete my social apps. When I have the energy to socialize to post about my existence, I install it again. Somehow it became an addiction (although the idea of it hides behind separating myself into worldly ideals). Still, then it hits me how it is tackled that the root of me doing this is the fact that I do it because I, too, prove myself out of my social feed. I realize nothing is wrong with posting and sharing myself (news flash: no one cares about if I post or not); what paralyzed me is putting pressure to prove something to others. I realize now that deleting Instagram now means that I do it because I tame myself not to prove or please every people there. But how blessed I am today that even though all the social apps exist on my phone, I carry now the comfort and hope from the message today that I am good at Galilee, that I am who I am, who God says I am regardless of what other thought I am. From now forth, what I do is out of approval and never again FOR approval. Mathew 4:3-4. When Jesus was tempted, I cannot help but relate to how Pastor Steven uses rock to chew and the modern-day. It’s true when we are hungry; we turn ‘something’ into something that is not, and the Devil know that and still uses this to tempt us. We are all good as we are right now and we are still gonna get better. When God says: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ and when God is the bread of life, SURELY when we crave something in our lifetime I know God is a general bread to cater our cravings. Steven, you don’t need to say who your are its true. We already know, you are a child of God and teacher of Gods word. Not because you are better then the rest of us, God put it in your heart before you were born that there will be lazy Christian’s like my self. But with Gods word, Christ Jesus sacrifice, the Holy Spirits nudging me and your teaching to bring Gods word to life. I believe I can stand there on stage and teach what makes my heart for God strong, because of your messages for us. Gods word is alive within you and we as believers of Gods word, can absorb it into our souls. We can explain it to our children and others what you are saying for our salvation of our lives. For now at my bike shop, I say to them, Elevation Church with Steven Furtick has a massage of that on video we can study through with the Bible. “Thank you for giving to the Lord, I am a life that was changed.” ( thats from a song ) but its so true.

I'm thinking seriously of moving there to NC or SC to help and be part of the church in person. I didn’t realize letting the whole world see who you are in private and mostly public is absolutely mandatory. I did realize that talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ in front of many was mandatory: it’s mandatory because that is how God call us to be at your best before people; be authentically you, even if they see your sins past and present before you. Had I known it was critical to Jesus that you let all people see you as you are whether they judge you or not. With all your faults. I would have bit the bullet and endured it had I known it was critical to discipleship. Being in the public eye keeps you faithful to Jesus. The lest time you spend alone, except in prayer, is working on your behalf . I would have done this long ago despite being fearful. I didn’t know it was a requirement. I am no more less fearful now concerning going before people talking ,no matter how dumb I may sound to people. That I go before people is Gods invitation. It matters to Jesus. I would have ventured years ago. I just didn’t know it was expected of me as a disciple. It matters to Jesus. Forgive me Lord Jesus. Here I am Lord Jesus. Thy will be done. In Jesus name.

I just went through this scenario 9months go. I lost mtself trying to prove to the company I worked for 28yrs that I was ready to become a manager. I was pasted over 6 x, before I left the company. I forgot to seek my GOD during that time now Im Paying for, I know my GOD got my back. it just might take some time. I hope its not as long as the Israelites wondered in the wilderness.
