I’ve never heard of Midnight in Everwood but adding to my wishlist now. I bet the trade covers will be gorgeous as well! Also, I always leave the plastic on the books when I get them this way. :)
The prettiest book I own right now is the Fairyloot edition of 'These Violent Delights' - I paid more than double for it after seeing it in everyone's vlogs but I have zero regrets! 🥰
"Paper don't control me" .... says the lady with a book tube account, bookstagram account, book blog, twitter account ... featuring books printed on PAPER!!! (giggle ... sorry!). In the last few years I've become aware of "pretty books" and special editions etc and I am honest in admitting that I often buy books judged on their covers. They make me happy!! If I enjoy reading them .... well .... bonus!!! Note: you didn't show the gorgeousness of the naked hardbacks such as Circe. I bought the UK edition of that book even though I already had the US edition because of that cover. That's when I discovered how much more intense the UK book design is compared to the US designs. Also regarding your gorgeous editions of Grimms and Alice ... the designer is Coralie Bickford-Smith. She has a couple of lovely fable type stories of her own out (The Fox and the Star) that I think I might have to add to my collection. I don't see the two that you have available anymore, sadly. Thanks for this ... it was delightful!
