That's basically everything what religious people want. They want you to agree with you and rather prefer to call yourself something you arent then they leave you alone but they dont care about what you want and who you are and the fact that you cant change that.
Dove I’m religious and I don’t want that. Also I believe this person was quoting something from the show Supernatural. They were quoting it from a show I do believe that.
This song came WAY before supernatural my dude. Do you remember the live action Cindy loo hoo? Yeah, that sweet little girl (Taylor momson) is the one singing this
The correct lyrics: Jimmy's in the back with a pocket of high If you listen close You can hear him cry Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing it Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Judy's in the front seat picking up trash Living on the dole Gotta make that cash Won't be pretty Won't be sweet She's just sittin' here on her feet Sing it Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Go Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing Oh, Lord, tell us so We belong way down below Oh, Lord, tell us so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below I've had better days, man I've seen better days I've had better ways, man I know better ways One, two, three and four The devil's knocking at your door Caught in the eye of a dead man's lie Start your life with your head held high Now you're on your knees With your head hung low Big man tells you where to go Tell 'em it's good Tell 'em okay Don't do a goddamn thing they say Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh, Lord, tell us so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below I've seen better ways, man I know better ways I've seen better days, man I've had better days Gina's in the back with a pocket of high If you listen close You can hear the crying Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh, Lord, tell us so We belong way down below Oh, Lord, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh, Lord, tell us so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below
I got my dad into it too! I kept bugging him to listen to them because we're going to a big rock festival their playing at, and I didn't want to make it seem like I was dragging him to a band he didn't want to see. I made him listen to this song and a few others and now he's hooked.
"We decided to film variations of all of the issues we as a people are facing, whether personal, political or social," she continued. "We took a lot of shots, each representing some social constant or emotional struggle. Some overt, some subtle, but it's all in there." "Everything is thrown at you from the day you're born," Momsen added. "Your only chance is to think for yourself... which is not as simple as it sounds."
The lead singer is the actress who plays "Cindy Lou Who" in the movie The Grinch Who Stole Christmas with Jim Carey! The girl has an unreal voice! Love this band! Nice to hear new women rockers!
Didn't like this song the first time I heard it. Second time, didn't mind it. Third time, found myself tapping my foot. Fourth time, went and got the entire god damn album and have been loving the band ever since.
in my opinion , when I hear esssa music , remember the wars that extend to this day , and I realize that hell is here. But people can not and should not blame religion for the world's problems, all that is happening is the result of human selfishness and wickedness , however there are many religious people who do evil, and makes war , but actually can not believe that God love is God of war , even in the Bible that God does cite war, perhaps the people who wrote it in the Bible , were wrong , since Jesus came by divine will and I see miracles in the church , I can not believe that God is war , and the person has no place in religion mention Evil !
Pretty sure the second verse is "she's livin on the dole" not the dough. The dole basically being welfare, though I'm not sure the word "dole" is common usage anymore so I could see how you might confuse it. Otherwise, I like this, good job
It's definitely living on the dole..."judy's in the front eat pickin' up trash, livin' on the dole gotta make that cash...." "lvin on the dole" - dole here means money they give you when you're unemployed..
'Cindy Lou' is a character - a *fake* character. I don't see why people compare her to this version. It puzzles me. Sometimes the people they portray in movies isn't who they are....
Elana Crown Read the description :) The video was made 2/3 days after the song came out, so there were no official lyrics released. I wasn't trying to hide anything, it was just a mistake :)
my best friend and i, whenever it comes on we jam out to it and sing along. Even if we're in a different room, we call each other in the room its on and sing. We even wake each other up in the middle of the night if necessary.
"Living on the dole," not "dough." Dole is an old-school reference to welfare, which makes more sense considering the way it's used in the song. If you really listen, it's pretty clear.
Maybe even "Going to Hell" "For the life that I take, I'm going to Hell For the laws that I break, I'm going to Hell For the love that I hate, I'm going to Hell For the lies that I make, I'm going to Hell For the way I condescend and never lend a hand My arrogance is making this head buried in the sand For the souls I forsake, I'm going to Hell"
Wow, I want to post a correction on all the wrong lyrics, but it's more than half the song>.> ok do it anyway. "Dough" is Dole (government money) "In here on her feet" is Sittin' here on her feet (Yeah it's odd to say it that way) "Oh, Oh tell us oh" is Oh lord tell us so "show your life" is Start your life "head down low is head hung low "Tell him" is "tell 'em (though probably "them" offically? as the next part refers to "they") "Jenna's" is "Gina"
this song i have replayed in the past 2 days over ten times. my dad showed me and my bestfriend this song (hes 42) and i love this song its my new favorite song
3 years later and people still feel the need to comment that the lyrics are wrong. JFC just listen to the song, sheep minded people. Great video~ I quite like that lord isn't there. I know it wasn't on purpose but it's positioned perfectly that the cross seems to represent lord lol.
Heaven is absolute perfection, there is no strife, no suffering, and no pain. It all sounds so... Boring. In the end what is life without pain and suffering. How can we make stories and develop character if we don't feel some type of misery? I'm not saying I'd rather go to hell, but heaven just sounds like a prettier level of hell to me. I'd rather be reincarnated.
I totally get the logic behind all that but what if heaven is a concept we are not completely able to grasp? Something our minds cannot fully understand? We know absolutely nothing about the other side. Maybe heaven is something we don't understand even if it's just the basics of it?
this sounded so from SUPERNATURAL., so i made it even more like it. Dean's in the back, pocket full filed of salt If you listen close You can hear him cry Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing it Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Sam is on a back street, searching for blood Living on the road Gonna left you bad Fighting demons Killing things He´s been consumed by his sins Sing it Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Go Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing We all know We belong way down below Oh oh, he now knows We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below We fight against monsters every day He claims to be wise But he really don´t know One, two, three and four The devil's knocking at your door Caught by the sin of along lost soul Ended addicted to a demon´s blood Now you're on your knees With your head down low Big white wings, broke them both Told him it's good Told him to stay Don't do a God thing they say Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh oh, tell her so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below Should listen to my mother Should have scape Now i´m trapped in this life Like I die every day Castiel´s on the back seat, graceless devout If you listen close You can hear the crying Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh oh, Sam now knows he belongs way down below Oh oh, Dean is gone he belongs way down below Oh oh, castiel saw they belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below
This isn't a satanic/devilish song. If you listen and look at the lyrics on screen it's about sinning and recognizing that click bait is a part of this world.
BADASS man - or this can be the theme song when the Assassin's Creed movie is released next year. I think it's next year. It's bout Ezio. Perfect song for Ezio.
I know these are not the right lyrics to this song, but I like these lyrics better. It's perfect for those that don't have a religion, like me. Keep these lyrics, awesome video by the way! :)
Yes I know she didn't make the song dumb ass. I'm just making a point that the lyrics are wrong, it's the lyric video. It's ment to have the right lyrics on not the wrong. O.O BISH!
Many here have a serious beef again PR & Taylor. Black Sabbath, AC/DC & Bad Religion have far more intense and blasphemous lyrics. And I like all four of these bands - not due to their lyrics or message. I like them because of their high energy & "fuck the world" attitude. Those are some of things lost in modern rock.
i mean have you seen that one lyric video for Going To Hell?? Some person got almost all of the lyrics wrong for that one!! A whole bunch of people seem to think that when Taylor says "and he said" that she's actually saying "heresy"...
Noone will care, but when I was younger I hated Taylor's punk rocker style. I want her to go back to being 'Little J'. Now I'm like 'she's SO much cooler now, and totally herself'
I ain't going to hell or heaven because I'm gunna roam around earth in spirit form to see allthe different countries first, I may go to one of the famous parts of the spirit world just for a visit and to see what's it like. Heaven, Hell, Valhalla, Ancient Egyptian After Life, ya know all the main ones just to satisfy my curiosity. If I get tired of being a rogue then I may go to one of them XD
*+Karoline Byrne* same I don’t think I’m going into any of those realms but not cuz I don’t wanna (even tho I don’t) it’ll probably be they just don’t want me around XD
Regina Salvo it's all fighting you'll get fucked up. Plus when the world you will have to fight in the fight to rebirth the world sounds cool in theory but in practice? Nah
