I heard this live in 2010, and it was BY FAR the best live music moment of my life. They KILLED it! And it was so much sweeter because it was in Manchester. Bliss!
I just downloaded like 20 songs of The Pretty Reckless, because I actually like almost every song of them, what is kind of amazing. They really rock! And Taylors voice is absolutely stunning.
I love her covers! Her voice just fits perfectly with all this amazing songs! And you can see (hear) she doesn't force her voice, it's just perfect the way it is. And I don't care avout her attitudes, she dresses like that because she likes it, it,makes her happy. People should stop judging her because of her actions and clothes and should just listen to her, perfect voice :)
You make covers because you as an artist LOVE the song. It means that the original artist wrote and recorded a GREAT song. TPR is is giving a nod to the band for creating a wonderful song.
Today is gonna be the day That they're gonna throw it back to you By now you should've somehow Realized what you gotta do I don't believe that anybody Feels the way I do, about you now Backbeat, the word was on the street That the fire in your heart is out I'm sure you've heard it all before But you never really had a doubt I don't believe that anybody Feels the way I do about you now And all the roads we have to walk are winding And all the lights that lead us there are blinding There are many things that I Would like to say to you but I don't know how Because maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me And after all, you're my wonderwall Today was gonna be the day But they'll never throw it back to you By now you should've somehow Realized what you're not to do I don't believe that anybody Feels the way I do, about you now And all the roads that lead you there are winding And all the lights that light the way are blinding There are many things that I Would like to say to you but I don't know how I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me And after all, you're my wonderwall I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me And after all, you're my wonderwall I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me you're gonna be the one that saves me you're gonna be the one that saves me
Hey I'm 55 years old and I've been in love with music all my life and I will say there's a lot of bands great bands with only two albums out and here The pretty reckless is recording their fourth album right now I'd say their a success 100%
Look at her at 2;16 she's a goth angel, simply beautiful and has the best vocal today, forget the hip hop and r & b rappers that could not carry Taylors mic and they can't sing into rock n roll it's the most difficult, so all you haters stop and move on, her music isn't cut out for squares, she's beautiful and a real rock star!...:)
@tschap95 Actually, Taylor grew up listening to The Beatles, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and more. And she actually moves around onstage quite a lot. I've seen them live 3 times in little over a year, and she goes all over the place. NEVER sits down at their shows.
@tschap95 The reason she can sit there and be 'boring' is because of her vocal.. That's what music is all about, not dancing around and being a prat on stage! that's the performance, that's why no-one has come here to 'see' the music! They've come to 'listen' to it.
ive loved oasis since i was about 2 i use to sing it in the shower when i was 3 years old. i hate every cover of wonderwall but this is so good that chicks voice is amazing
I think I finally figured out why I love Taylor Momsen so much. See most new young singers I can't stand for a number of reasons, but Taylor not only is a great songwriter but she doesn't try so hard to make her voice fit her genre (ahem, Haley Williams from Paramore) nor does she need to grind up against an old man in a nude bikini to be sexy, she just exudes sexiness on her own (cough cough, Miley Cyrus), and of course she sings amazing live (let's face it: neither Haley nor Miley can).
No song is "originally" classic rock. It started out as rock/pop. You might call it classic now if you think it's that old. But it was just one of those rock songs that made it onto pop charts.
