This is The Price is Right show that aired on November 8, 1993. The second show taped on this day in early October. Episode was recorded from cbs main feed on a C-Band satellite dish using a sony digital8 camcorder. In this show they do not credit a woman for getting a $1.00 on the spin. My guess is she was probably given $10,000 after the error was caught to avoid legal issues. Also includes an exciting cliffhanger game and a pathetic attempt by myself to get out of contestants row. Oh well.

The lady in the first Showcase Showdown actually got a total of $1 and was cheated out of her $1000 and bonus spin!!!

7:23 She would've won, even with *that* one, because it would subtract the 30 cents and still leave her with one dollar.

“Ceiling fan light.” Only on this show have I heard people say that phrase.

He stopped correcting contestants around 1977 and he said on one of the shows that year he wasn't going to do that any longer by just bidding stupidly. Once in a while over the years he would do that but most of the time the contestants would just ignore the wishes.

Bob said on one show that it wasn't his job to remind each contestant to bid lower than whatever the lowest bid had been. He felt it was up to the contestants to remember. Now if they asked him what they should bid lower than, then he would tell them. Otherwise, he kept his mouth shut.

If you looked on the right side of the stage you could see the board they shot/scrolled at the end of the show

It's amazing that just happened and nobody called it out. I guess maybe TV carried a different aura back then? I don't know. But maaaaaan, that's sloppy.

Imagine how even worse it would've been if the generic Hooters waitress wannabe tied the other contestant's "95 cents" and beat her in a spin-off...also causing the wrong contestant to go to the Showcase!!!

I'm surprised they had Janice working Cliffhangers. The most they ever had her do with the game was model the prize given the circumstances of how the game came to be.
