Loved Pamela. Massive loss missing a car in the first game, but comes back and jags $11k on the wheel then finishes off getting the showcase which includes a car. Stuff of legend. The face however when she saw the first prize in her showcase was a sewing machine, she did not look thrilled. Priceless.

I just loved price is right in the 90’s and 00’s. I was born in ‘93 , and whenever I was sick at home, my mom and I would watch the price is right. This also was when TV was fun to watch as well.

You win..with a difference of only $251....BUT you do not win both showcases because you have to be $250 OR LESS AWAY from the retail price of your showcase in order to win them both. This new Double Showcase Rule was established by the 1998 Season.
I've always loved how all the commercials tend to be medication, prunes, supplements, undergarments, and so on. You can really tell the target audience. What's ironic though is that a lot of young people tuned in. Mainly on the days they stayed home from school sick I suppose. I wonder if CBS knew how many young people were actually watching.
At 42:07, if you look closely, you'll notice Janice's left shoulder is shorter than her right one. It's because of an (unaired) accident she had on the show back in 1988. She had to have emergency surgery which left her with scars and her left shoulder shorter. It was because of that, she could no longer wear swimsuits on the show.
girl who played pathfinder should've been disqualified for hovering her foot over the "8" on the final selection...some years ago....bob warned a constestant about that....
If the pricing game Magic # gets scheduled for an episode of The Price is Right it can't be the first game presented because the computer and controls all that used for the contestant to control up or down needs extra time to start up so it will not work for the very beginning of the show
