I'm old enough to remember when you'd hope for a day off school and the highlight of your day that day would be that you got to watch The Price is Right.
I'm glad Rachel is still with the show. Everytime the models we normally see are gone, it just totally makes the show different. I'm sad that Brandi, Shane, and Gabrielle had to go. They are also my favorites as well...
My dream Nighttime TPIR models on CBS are Rachel, Amber and Manuela for the big doors with a bunch of other Barker/Carey beauties (and some gorgeous guest girls) for everything else.
Kevin Rose -- I agree, they are like polar opposites. The show just isn't as enjoyable to watch with Drew. I can't help but think of all the off color, perverted comments & dirty jokes he told on his show & on Who's Line. I was really surprised that he was chosen to fill the shoes of someone so respectable. I keep hoping they'll realize their mistake & choose someone else with a lil more class, like anyone.
I stop watching once Rich Fields left Mike Richards is slowly killing the Price Is Right you noticed they don't even explain the products in full detail any more with drew Carey Bob said that the show never had to be edited I bet that isn't true for Drew but it's always comforting I can come watch Bob here
Even once Mark Goodson died, TPiR's new owners (All-American Television, then Pearson Television, and later, FremantleMedia) kept hands-off of the show, and as a result Bob and Roger continued producing the show as a Mark Goodson Production, almost as if nothing ever changed. It was only after Bob retired that Fremantle finally took over, and the cleaning of house began.
