$10k wholesale is only about 5 pounds. You could get 5 pounds from just a few outdoor plants. $10k in equipment and he could harvest 20lbs a month minimum.
Earlier in this episode, Kyle bid 1000 on a work out machine and another contest(Jose) bid 999 AFTER Kyle's bid. the correct price was 999 and bob pointed out how that's never happened before. crazy episode!!!
Bob Barker will forever be the greatest game show host ever! I remember when I was little and home because I was sick, I watched the show and I always loved when Plinko was played. My mom and I love that game. Feels great to have grown up in the 90’s and 00’s
Knowing Bob, he would have thanked him for the thought but told him "This is your money you earned it" but complimented him on his manners and generosity and gave it back to him later.
@@aneubeck4053 I never said anything about gambling. No, they're not allowed to rig it as they please. There are laws in place for those types of shows. I also work in TV, but hey, go look it up yourself if you won't take my word for it.
This was a great episode.. earlier a guy bid $1 less than what somebody already bid and won to get on stage. another first. wish I could remember the date I watched it in RU-vid. love this show thanks for posting aloha
I miss Bob Barker on The Price is Right. He was the right guy for the right job on this show and I had the privilege of going to The Price is Right while he was host twice and he was charming in between games answering audience questions.
The coolest part is that this is from Bob’s last season - on the top of his game at ~83 years old! (and about to turn 98 in a couple of weeks as I write this)
Truly remarkable! Bob was born the same year as my Grandpa (1923), incredible to think he is still alive... My Gramps passed away in 1987... I really miss the WWII generation.
I mean, he basically did. He called “4” before he had a chance to lose half the boxes. He picked it at 1/16 odds and picked it again when it counted at 1/8.
I enjoyed him making sure not to be so wild on Bob Barker (I've seen him get annoyed and a couple times even a bit agitated that there's some poor person jumping on and around him like a Golden retriever puppy seeing a steak)
It was February 2022 before I realized that this was the same show where earlier Kyle bid 1000 for something, then somebody else bid 999 and 999 was the exact price.
did Bob really make him stay after the show to answer any questions the audience had about their future? how could he answer any question they may have had?
This was the same episode in which a contestant bid $999 AFTER another one bid $1000, yet the $999 contestant WON the bid with the EXACT price for a $500 cash bonus.
It must have been someone having a field day sitting by their work table, long day of cramtyping captions and other transcriptions, and then getting to the final task before calling it a day and away they submit this masterpiece of an example of what no fucks given looks like.
Let me see now: Bob vs Drew No contest. Bob Barker vastly superior. If you ever needed more evidence of that then this video is it. Drew, although fine, does not have the skills to accomplish what Bob did here in this TPIR clip.
BOB actually cared who the contestants were, and ALWAYS asked about them. Many times Drew doesn't bother, and I'm like, what does he/she do, as they look interestingly attired or something, but no?! Bob made the show more fun, more interesting, more everything! Bob has his faults, being a handsome charmer who really wanted to be a leading man, but he was THE HOST WITH THE MOST!
That’s not the first time Barker has made it rain. The man is a legend at all the LA area strip joints. Do this day he’s still in there weekly. “Crazy Girls” is his favorite
6.25% chance of getting it right with no help. With one correct 1/2 off item guess it would've been only a 12.50% chance of guessing correctly. Really impressive..its the same as guessing three numbers on a roulette table and getting it right on at least one. BTW Bob Barker turns 100 in December
