Bull shit ! Self control mean to not being on automatic pilot ! Being aware of your behavior and not to react on impulsion, which is necessary as long as you live among other people... otherwise you become a real pain for your surrounding and a burdon for society ! The deep self doesn't need any control it simply "is" the soul is untouchable anyway

Why not?

They are interpretations of a Master. They are his point of view. To "interpret" a Master is such ignorance. A Master channels direct truth. A Master interprets no one. Truth is. Of course different Masters present/channel Truth in different ways which is wonderful for us. But a guy who explains for us the teaching of a Master like Sri Ramana is to be avoided. It would be like a bird specialist interpreting bird song.

This James is stuck at the level of logical word interpretation, as if he can take the light embedded within a Masters words and clumsily give their "meaning" to you. A true teacher speaks being to being; transmission. Understanding occurs via apperception, when one is not 'trying' to understand with the mind. People like this James sadly perpetuate seeking, suffering and attempts to "understand" what is beyond understanding. xoxoxo
