Like clockwork. Dale plays a new game and doesn't pay attention to any prompts or instructions. Immediately starts struggling and getting frustrated. So predictable.

Notice how Dale refrains from using tools provided by the game (L2 to parry) to better understand the game mechanics. This is why he calls modern fighting games trash. For a proclaimed "scholar" to not even take the time to read the prompt in a side scroller?!.... that's some balrog-$hit😂

Ngl, I think Dale has the worst taste in almost everything and I’m not just saying that because he’s an old head lolcow. Dale’s music taste and Dale’s taste in video games, I find to be extremely bad and a little cringe tbh. But I’m also not an 🦧 and I’m not from the 🇺🇸 so maybe it’s just a 🇺🇸 🦧 thing… this game, whatever it is, looks corny af imo lol

I know we hate Dale and all, but this game's just a mid side-scrolling Prince of Persia game. It's not offensively bad, it's just mid to some of y'all. I can see people who'd like this kinda game; its metroidvania, and usually these games don't really open up in terms of options and fun until the mid-game, which Dale won't ever reach. Hell it even reminds me of some old GBA games I used to play for fun. A kid could've grown up on this kinda game...if we were still in the 2000s. But now they have a lot more options I guess, and the whole internet to tell them what to do.

@@Sercotani tbh I’d rather play Blasphemous 1+2, Castelvania, og Prince of Persia or even the Assassin Creed side scroller games. But idk this game’s art style looks too “Fortnite” to me and the protagonist seems very generic and a little woke tbh. To each their own, maybe I’ll give the game a go of it’s added to gamepass or PlayStation plus.

Nah, as a side scrolling metrovania game, this looks alright (mechanically wise). Aesthetically though, looks mid and the character design looks absolutely trash. Bloodstained ritual of the night is miles better than this tbh, hell the entire Bloodstained series is better than this.
