Huh? Chapter 56 is all dialog. No one dies. The last page it is implied there will be violation, but that's it. Are you talking about when Machiya's sister gets killed in the school? That happens wayyy early, like chapter 16 or something in the second story arc. It was suppose to be a powerful moment and the effects it has on Machiya are interesting. Alot of people said the same thing about the Walking Dead issue #100. Favorite character dies horribly...someone people related to and they can't stomach it despite way more horrible things happening before.
I would have liked , if machiya dad and his freind who was Mai dad , created Mai , artificially , like her boned her titanium , and her brain is programmed to be a mass murderer , who is programmed to only love michaya only . It would give some explanation why this girl is so strong . Or if she abused as a child alot and trained in very wrong ways by her father , for death tube purposes.
I don't like Mai in the latest arcs , following orders of machiya blindly in the latest arcs . It's like she doesn't think anymore at all . Before she was controlling machiya and manipulating him . I liked that more . Now she is simply . I'll just do whatever machiya says girl . She doesn't even have sex with machiya yet makes no sense . Even though all the time she says she wants him. Meh . And somehow a normal machiya guy becomes a 500iq guy , like he is never wrong about anything? That's bs , he is way too smart for me to feel any tension .
Honestly, so many things in this manga really stopped making sense and now nothing surprises me. You made some really good points, the characters all changed but it can't really even be called development, they just feel like different people. Which kind of throws away any of the little backstory and development that they had going for them.
I have read this manga and read a couple of chapters then paused on it just because I wanted to read other stuff. However this manga it did seem like edgy gore-porn stuff that most teenagers would like but just didn't resonate with me anymore as it used as I have read better stuff than this.
I don't like Hina miwa , she doesn't actually do anything ever . She is a normal girl . But she doesn't react as a normal girl would when people die right infront of her . She doesn't belong in the cast i feel. And she have alot of plot Armor for no reason. She got bitten by zombie but she never turned into one ? Even after alot of time passed . Nothing. How did they even find the cure of zombie virus . Nothing explained . Nothing ever happens to her . She always get protected somehow . She is not strong , or smart . Or have anything interesting about her at all. She is just a normal girl . Who simply exist . In the cast . She should die and be replaced with someone more interesting
I see what you mean, I feel like she was intended to be someone that the audience could relate to but then that's not really possible with all the situations the author continues to put her in and she never really developed into an interesting character.
The hole manga was I would say somehow ‚trash‘. The first arcs at the beginning was so good but didn‘t last long sadly…. But I love mashiyas expressions🫣
The end of Volume 13, Chapter 55 I think is a great place to stop. Here it feels like there is some form of closure, despite the plots holes that are never answered anyway. After this it also starts to feel repetitive.
